  1. We need to get this thing scheduled, Classic is humming along, PRL season 3 is probably well over 50% complete, and the season isn't even posted on the site yet, VHL is probably more then 20% complete, and the season hasn't even officially started yet. I'd say a December 1st draft start would be perfect, week to 2 week long draft IF that's what guys want (I'd prefer a day, or 2, but I'm one of a small few that are crazy for this s**t), trade deadline New Year's Eve if draft drags to the full 2 week, December 23rd if it only goes 1 week, and a official season start of January 1st this would give Classic, and VHL plenty of time to have playoffs completed, or close to completion, and probably be finished with PRL Season 4 before then, and maybe take a month hiatus from PRL leagues with maybe @CoachMac coming up with an 80's rom to draft from (if he is interested in putting in that kind of work would completely understand if he did not want to), and maybe do a 6 team lottery for teams to add to the draft pool with the 80's rom, and if you have a keeper from one of those teams selected in that lottery he is no longer keeper eligible for you that season to throw a little wrinkle in the PRL format (this should probably be posted in PRL league thread somewhere not here sorry). I think if we recruit some of the VHL newbs, and Classic newbs we can more then fill this league with at least 16 teams if promoted more after Thanksgiving when some of those guys see those seasons are almost done. What do you think @Brutus ?

  6. Hey Guys, I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. The postproduction team and I have finished the 1st week of editing (next editing week starts tomorrow). We focused this first week on cutting and piecing the segments with the NHL players. It's a lot funnier than I expected! We also started cutting the interviews with a couple of the programmers. It's going to be tougher than I thought to keep what they are saying interesting but we are working on ideas to keep the story following and also dropping in easter eggs for the hardcore fans. That being said I will have full uncut interviews with the designers in the DVD/Itunes Extras so you guys can hear what they have to say. I don't want that stuff to go to waste. (I probably have 5 hours of NHL '94 designer interviews and I'm going to use about 5-10 mins lol). By the end of next week, I hope to start going through the interviews I have filmed with some of you guys! I have been breezing through them over the weekend and they look great. Cheers, Mikey

  7. There is more people that have set foot on the moon then know the true reason there is no fighting in NHL '94, even Lesser didn't know. The doc will even shed light on which key people like/didn't like the fighting and will shed light on the whole history of the... "game". I don't want to give any spoilers away but over half the people I interviewed/talked too, think there is fighting in NHL '94... and there is a reason for that. (93X94)/95=92 To be honest after all this "document s**t" I have been doing, the question... "which game is the best on what system?" means less and less to the real reason why we are all writing on internet blogs about this subject.

  8. I remember that GDL '93 league... Always felt so helpless when the opposition had a breakaway lol
