Come to think of it. I haven't seen a 'boarding' call. Are they called often? Never seen a hit to the boards that injured a player. It's always open ice steam rolls that cause it to happen.

lol, I kinda figured as I was typing it up- what a hassle/coordination effort it would be. Not too mention not even knowing about the stats issue etc. What can I say, I'm a fantasy sports junky And honestly, this blows away any fantasy football/hockey season I've been apart of. Maybe cuz I don't have to rely on Lee 'Freakin' Evans or Laurence Mauroney producing every week. I only have to rely on me-self.

Is there in-season trading allowed? I'm guessing there would be a ton of legwork required and new releases of the the ROM every so often. What about a mid-season trade opportunity? I know people play games at various rates so that may not be possible. Just a thought to throw out there.

I voted Snaking draft. But after reading through the thread I'm of the opinion that 2 rounds of non-snaking would be the way to go. I agree with Ja'mon on that one. the first 2 rounds stay 1-24 and 1-24. Start of the 3rd is 24-1, 1-24 etc etc etc. I think that's a fair compromise. How deep do our rosters go? 2-Goalies, 9-F's and 6 D-men? Geez, did the programmers not like Wamsley or Smith? Later

Thanks DaDonche. I appreciate that. I don't want to come across as an 'I I I I, me, me, me' guy. I'm also speaking on behalf of my fellow new blood addicts.

Fella's I have to chime in on this 'new guys must pay their dues' theory. Are we talking new guys to the draft league or new guys to the nhlonline community. I beleive there's a HUGE difference between the two. If you guys lump all us 'new guys' into the same bucket, players, such as myself, who have been playing dillegently for over 2 months, are being punished or made to pay dues that have already been proven. I've had less then 5 games remaining to my 40 game regular season for the last 3 weeks. I continue to play every night against anyone who offers. I'm also pro-active in seeking out games on a consistent basis. Not too mention being active on the message boards etc. I feel that this is a way of paying my dues that should be considered. So basically, just to some up my rant/diatribe, Can we differentiate between the new blood who are new to the whole online community and the new blood who are only new to the GDL? That's just my 2 cents. Peace it.

Matt, great idea dude. There's more then enough coaches to field two 14 team leagues. 7 per division. But i know that'd be putting extra work on Dadonche. I'm all for biding my time and being reqarded next year but at the same time I am putting in my dues like all the other newbies by playing TONS of games every flippin night. Ask Jamon and BHF how often myself and Jrod are on the server pimpin games from the vets. Respectfully, Ice

Check out these two clips. Haven;t seen it go on this long. On a delayed Penalty, McLean gets trapped moving up ice. He runs some sweet interence for <gulp> Robert Dirk? If you must know. Dirk coughed up the puck shortly afterwards and the penalty was called.

I didn't vote. But my personal opinion is, we have 6-7 teams waiting who are new blood and dying to play competitive league games whenever possible. With the popularity of the site growing, I'd hate to think someone who's cheated in the past and been verbally abusive would take a league roster spot ahead of us die hard newbies. Just my opinion. I don't know the specifics of this hokee dude. Can only speak for the likes of myself, jrod, sdogg etc etc etc. Respectfully, Ice
