Bump. I added the middle seeds' games to the playoff schedules, so they don't have to sit around and wait. They are up on the playoffs page as well. Also, please let me know if there are any problems logging games. I had to make some changes to set up best-of-5 series and I did go through and check, but there still may be some bugs.

OK, so here is what halifax and I have decided: 20 of 24 teams in GENS made the playoffs. The bottom 8 teams will play a best-of-5 series to determine the bottom 4 seeds, the 5th-12th seeds will play best-of-7 series, and the top 4 teams have a bye in this first round. 12 of 16 teams in SNES made the playoffs. The bottom 8 teams will play a best-of-5 series to determine the bottom 4 seeds, and the top 4 teams have a bye in this first round. After NP (negative points) were deducted for missed games, there was not much movement, other than 3 teams in GENS dropped out of the standings, and the other (TB) was also removed. Hey All, I have recently added 2 new pages at nhl94online.com under the Stats sub-menu: League Records: League Records Site Records: Site Records These pages display the most popular stats and their leaders. I also have a few records such as most goals scored in a game, individually and combined, and largest goal differential in a game. The League records can be controlled by the League drop-down menu up on the menu bar. The Site records page has the same info., but across all leagues played on the site. I have also divided them dependent on system (Genesis, or SNES). Also, to note, I am now keeping track of replacement coaches. So, from here on out, any records or stats made by a team that make the page will either display all the coaches that controlled that team (for stats) or the actual coach that played the game where the record was set (for the records). If there are other stats or records you would like to see, let me know. I will work on getting them up there. I also plan on compiling all the previous classic seasons (2007 and before) and putting them up on the site as well. Be patient with this, as the database structure now is WAY different than before I took over and I need to go through them basically 1 team at a time. I hope to have this up by the end of the year. Especially Fall 2008 season, which is a big mess! Please give me some suggestions on other things you would like to see on the site. If it is doable, I will see to it.

Yeah, that will be fine. Any kind of USB 6 button gamepad would work. There are some guys who swear by the keyboard.

Yes regular season is done. I need to sort out who will be getting points deducted and who will not. Then I will post the final standings and the playoff braackets. I'll have this done in a few days.

My friend and I would do it this way: To start off, flip a coin, the person who wins the flip picks first. Then, the game/series winner would get to select their team first next time, but it would have to be a different team than the previous game/series. Then we used to play either 10 game/series and then play one All-Star game/series. The person who gets to select their All-Star team first would be the one who had the best record of the previous 10 games/series. Then start all over again. And no ties. Settle by shootout.

The Fall 2010 Classic season ends at 11:59 PM Eastern on Monday, Nov. 15th. Playoff seeding will be decided at that point, once DNPs and NPs are given out (if you have not checked out the updated rules, you can find them here). The top 16 GENS teams make the playoffs, and the top 12 SNES teams make it as well. As of right now, I plan on doing seeding from top to bottom, but I also have another idea and am waiting for Halifax's take on it. Somewhat like the NCAA Final Four tournament. No you aren't alone. Every time I beat him, I feel like he is suicidal and I need to talk him off the ledge. He has done this in every league he's been in. Sore losers are not wanted. He did it earlier to me today during a classic game. With 1:30 left, I was leading 4-3 and he drops.

Kulseic (AIM: kulseic) has taken over for TB in Genesis. He's a newbie, with a horrrible team, so go easy on him! Unfortunately, no other teams are available, so it's going to be a tough season. Hit him up on AIM to get some games in and help him out. Good luck!! It's a great way to get used to playing online against others, at least.
