If my memory serves me correctly, I kind of skipped nhl 2004 and never really gave it a fair shake. I remmeber it had a lot of pinning players to the boards, and I wasn't really a fan. That being said, these screenshots look amazing, and it looks like it could be fun. Maybe I will give this a try someday.

Does anyone else play Stinger Table Hockey for the iphone/ipod/ipad? http://stingergames.com/tablehockey/ It costs $1.99 and is well worth it. You use 2 finger/thumbs to control 2 players at the same time, and the gameplay and physics are topnotch - just like real table hockey! It can be pretty slow when the computer opponent has the puck and doesn't know what to do with it, or if you are trying to set up the perfect pass for a one-timer, but it's still tons of fun. You can even create your own teams with logos or pictures you've downloaded. I created old school Sens and Leafs jersies. It also has a Skills competition (lol). Hardest shot, sniper, and shootout challenge. Plus, it keeps stats for all your players! If you do play, what are you records? For hardest shot, I've got over 122 mph, and the most goals I have in a game is 9.

If I don't have a PS2, what are my options for playing this game? A PS2 emulator?

One of my best friends played a few regular season games with Florida in the early 2000's, but mostly AHL and now he's in Europe. I got to skate at the Scotiabank Place back when it was the Corel Centre, right after a Sens practice because of a connection with Jacques Martin's daughter. Got to pass the puck around with some of the guys. There was Cunneyworth, Tugnutt, Falloon, Laukkannen, Cunneyworth, Bicanek, York, etc. I've also met a bunch of the Heatley/Emery era Sens at bars in Kanata. Heatley actually slapped my ass and said Hey bud to me! It was weird, I think he was drunk and it was something he would normally do on the ice with a teammate and maybe he regretted doing it to me, a random guy in a bar. I said Heaterrrr to him and he said Hey Bud! and slapped my bum.

That would be pretty awesome if he could do an updated version of one of the SNES roms.

Way to go! I was planning to do the same thing with Dino Ciccarelli at a wedding in November.. but of course the wedding got called off last minute! I should still be able to meet him at some point soon though. I will get my SNES cartridge signed if I do.

Sorry guys, too busy lately. I'm going to be out of town until Jan. 4th, so no NHL 94 until then. I can resume playing then, but if you need to replace me in the SNWHA league, so be it. Again, I'm sorry.

I just noticed this ROM now. Thanks for doing this northstar. I will check it out and let you know of any SENS-related discrepancies.

I will be available and log into AIM on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday night, probably from about 7 on to 11 pm EST, and most of the day Saturday and Sunday.

Weekday evenings I try to log onto AIM sometime between about 8pm and 10pm. Tonight is a possibility.

Hey Thanks bud! Don't mean to brag, but I had 2 big surprises this weekend - Medieval Times in Toronto on Friday night and then a bunch of friends of family surprised me at the rink and we all played shinny and had a party. It was awesome!

I don't mind the way the teams are assigned now. If you end up with one of your lower choices, you should look at it as a challenge to make the most out of the hand you're dealt. That being said, this idea makes a lot of sense and I would be in support of using it for next time.
