I'd like to thank Wittgenstein for some really exciting and fun games. Game 1 was a real doozy, 4 goals in the last half of the third period.

I've never heard back from Wittgenstein, even though I've seen that he's been around here(he must be busy with league stuff). This combined with all of last week being taken up by moving to my new place has pretty much kept me out of the loop, and for that I'm really sorry. I'm definitely ready to jump into my matchup now, since we're pretty far behind. I'll be sending him another message and awaiting a reply. EDIT: Heard back from Witt, our games will be done within the next couple days.

I'd like to change teams and play as LA for this tournament, if no one objects. I don't think they've been claimed yet, and I haven't been satisfied playing as The Whale... No big deal if I can't, though.

I imagine my opponent forgot that they entered this tournament, or even that they signed up for these boards. I've been waiting on AIM and have sent him a PM here, and I'm still waiting... is there a deadline set for first-round matches to be finished up?

nationals1 and I played a few exhibition games today waiting for our opponents, and there was a tie among them. So, in the unlikely event of a tie during this tournament, is that game just tossed out, or what do we do?

To my opponent (mutoridze) - I won't be able to play until Sunday afternoon at the earliest. Hopefully we can meet up then and hammer those games out. I'll be on AIM all day then to make sure I don't miss you.

So this is a single-elimination tournament? Are we playing a best-of-X series or one-and-done?

You know, I was rooting through the player database with NOSE and I happened upon a player rated lower than Myles O'Connor. His name is Greg Smyth, and he played for the Flames as a defenseman. Overall rating: 29. Myles O'Connor is a 32. Too late to re-name the tournament?

Yeah, same here. Other than tomorrow where I'll be away from home all day, I'm basically up for playing any time during the evening.

This isn't my first post, but I'd like to officially say hello to everyone. I'm not terribly good at this game since I didn't really start playing hockey video games until 2001. I came here when I heard about the 30-team hacks and I always wanted to play as my favorite team, the Blue Jackets, in an old-school game. Then I received an invite to the "noob" tournament. I guess it should be interesting seeing just how bad I am at this game.

Hey, I just joined last night(well, if you want to get technical, early this morning) after reading about all of the great hacks for '94 and the others, I come back today and see an invitation to play, so why not?
