  1. Towards the end, it looked like they were scoring by accident almost
  2. Your lack of enthusiasm is not encouraging... We need people who are committed to playing a full 44 game season over 2 months, then a month of playoffs. You also have to take part in the draft process, which requires daily activity over a couple weeks at the start of the season. Still interested?
  3. If you want to go the extra mile, you can get an original Xbox (not 360), mod it (instructions available on google!), and put XBMC (xbox media center) on it, as well as a Gens emulator and the 94 ROM. XBMC is awesome.. you can turn your old xbox into a nice media centre.. play downloaded tv shows on it (or stream them from your computer over a network, though you can do that on a 360). Emulators for most old consoles are available, such as the Genesis, SNES, NES, PS(1), N64, maybe even gamecube... it also hooks into apple trailers, weather, sports scores... http://xbmc.org/
  4. Any more people interested in joining in for Season 2? It'll start in january. Please post your AIM name
  5. fifty-ONE, so there! http://65.36.133.56/nhl94/user.aspx?id=33
  6. I'm going with.. google for "convert avi gif forum" (without the quotes). This will find forum posts where people say how to do this
  7. on offense? guessing you meant defense? because i don't have an offense
  8. Nope, they stay the same. Too much work to keep track of that stuff, especially since the later ratings don't translate well to 94 : )
  9. Everyone needs to start coming up with a list of their players in the order they want to keep them... guys at the top, you have the most chance of keeping. i 'll make a more official announcement some time!
  10. All I know is, I never missed offsides after playing it in the first stats league. And that was with a slow ROM (most guys 3 or 4 speed and line changes on). They weren't that bad, but I think it took more fun away than it added. I'd go back to line changes before offsides. But anyway, no more comments from me on offsides!
  11. Who is the Genesis A Play-in loser? (I nee to play skool, but still, wondering!)
  12. Don CHerry said he was hurt / recovering last year. Then they traded him once he got healthy and now he's doing well Cherry had a good "i told ya so" moment a few weeks ago on Coach's Corner.
  13. Oh yeah, the VC Award. We've kind of had that one unofficially for a while now... it's nice because we never have to engrave a new name, we just add another league/year under your name each time.
  14. Anyone ever notice that Alexandre Daigle led the Wild in scoring in 03-04?
  15. I think I am the "most feared player that you suddenly realize has never actually beaten you before"
  16. Game 1: 3-2 Detroit http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=515 Fedorov stuffs a rebound around a sprawling Ranford with 54 seconds left for the win. The refs called Tinordi (DAL) on a perfectly legal hit with half a minute left, ruining thoughts of tying it up. Game 2: 7-4 Dallas http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=516 Courtnall and Gagner score 5 points each in the only blowout of the series. Vanbiesbrk lets in 7 goals on 13 shots. Series tied 1-1 Game 3: 4-3 Detroit http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=517 Probert replaces Ciccarelli and scores a goal. Game 4: 5-4 Dallas http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=518 Yzerman scores 4, but Dallas's forward line combines for 5. Ranford shuts the door in the 3rd making 6 saves, and Courtnall wins is on a PP goal. Series tied 2-2 Game 5: 3-2 Dallas http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=519 Dallas scores two garbage goals, and Tinordi makes a miraculous last-second puck poke-check to preserve the win. Dallas allowed only 1 shot in the last 2 periods. Game 6: 4-3 OT Detroit http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=520 The teams are locked at 3-3 from half-way through the 2nd period and take it to overtime (after Modano misses a bad-angle onetimer shot by a hair with 3 seconds left!) Ciccarelli, benched in games 3 and 4, scores the winner at 1:11 of OT to take it to game 7 Series tied 3-3 Game 7: http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=521 The game starts with Courtnall laying out Ciccarelli with one of the most vicious open-ice hits I've ever, injuring him for the period. Detroit manages to score late in the period without him, though, going up 1-0. Down 2-0 going into the 3rd, Dallas rebounds and scores an early goal. Vanbiesbrk plays his best game of the series, though, stopping 4 of 5 shots in the 3rd. A recovered Ciccarelli makes it 3-1 with 1:49 remaining and adds an empty netter to put it away. Final: 4-1 Detroit Detroit wins series 4-3 ggs, very tight series. It looked like Dallas had it after taking game 5, but FlamingPavelBure pulled out the stops and came back to win it. The Conn Smythe Trophy goes to Yzerman, 37-12-49 in 15 games. Courtnall went 30-8-38 in 17. Yzerman was pointless in games 6 and 7 of final, though, but still won by 11 points. http://www.blitz94.com/playerstats.asp?ord...s=true&lg=1

  23. Someone just use "File"->"Load State" to run the game, score the 2 goals to make it 4-2, then make another save. Upload that save, please.
