I just collected here NHL95PC editing tools and tutorials: Editors: - Toni Wilen's NHLinfo WNHLINFO.zip for editing rosters, schedule, attributes, graphics etc. - Roster export/import tools by Kiba. - Jersey editor jed301.zip by Anton Jouline. - EA Graphics Editor eage104b.zip, I havent find out this very useful yet, because I dont know how to use it properly but maybe in future... - Time change for 5min periods and overtime by Kiba. - NHL95DBEditor for editing attributes by peruukki. - Old DOS version of Toni Wilen's NHLinfo NHLINFODOS.zip.     Hello all roster makers! These tools are for NHL95 PC-version exporting and importing. This is not even alpha version of anything, just some tools I wrote to help running my NHL95PC league. These are not tested in any way, so dont risk your important NHL95PC installation. Make new fresh installation of NHL95PC for this one. I dont take any responsability if you mess up your computer by using these tools. Files in this package: - Readme.txt This info file. - gametocsv.exe Export players and goalies names, jersey numbers and attributes from game to attributes.csv file. - csvtogame.exe Import players and goalies names, jersey numbers and attributes from attributes.csv file to game. - attributes.csv CSV file holding importing/exporting information. Files you need from NHL95 PC: - TEAMS.DB - KEY.DB - ATT.DB What can be done with these tools? - Export info from game to csv file, edit some of the info and put it back to game. You can edit player/goalie names, jersey number, position and attributes. Remember check limitations to values from below, there is none error checking in exe-files. You CANNOT delete players/goalies or insert new ones by editing attributes.csv. So dont remove lines from attributes.csv or dont add any new lines. For deleting and adding new players I recommented Toni Wilen's NHLinfo. What info can be edited? - attributes.csv holds following fields in order: For Players: Team Team short name. Do not edit! TEAMS.DB order number Do not edit! Usage: Copy all mentioned files to same folder. Run gametocsv.exe to export info to attributes.csv file. Edit attributes.csv with any tool which is familiar to you. Remember keep the same format on attributes.csv file. Format on attributes.csv is: - First comes player info - GOALIES line - Goalie info - END line You should check how the attributes.csv looks like before you start importing/exporting. When editing is done, save to attributes.csv and run csvtogame.exe. Then copy files: TEAMS.DB, KEY.DB and ATT.DB back to your NHL95 root directory or on season directory. Check if everything was changed correctly and game runs ok. For checking NHLinfo is a good tool. These tools do not change players/goalies career stats. Those career stats could affect to simming in game, so if you want to edit those values, I again recommented Toni Wilen's NHLinfo. Anyways, do not wait any updates to these tools If this works, we should see more updated/vintage rosters on NHL95PC community. Have fun! NHL95PCtools.zip

    There is no NHL94 to PC. There is NHLPA Hockey 93 and NHL95. If you mean NHLPA Hockey 93, you can try to use same tools as for NHL95: At least WNHLinfo works.

    Hello! You have NHL96 iso-file. Place that iso file somewhere on your hard drive. In my case I have it in e: drive in "images" folder. Then make a folder for your nhl96 game, for example "e:\games\nhl96". Then change your dosbox.conf file. In Dosbox version 0.74, you just doubleclick "DOSBox 0.74 Options.bat" on Dosbox folder and it will open configuration file for you. Add following lines at the end of the file: mount c c:\ mount e e:\ imgmount n "e:\images\NHL96.iso" -t iso n: then save Dosbox config file. Start Dosbox and you will be in n: drive. Start installation by running "setup" from Dosbox command line. On installation, give folder you made for a game when installation asks for it. After installation, game places you on game folder on Dosbox command line, in my case "e:\games\nhl96". Just run "hockey" from Dosbox command line and game starts. For next time you want to play, change Dosbox configuration file to look like this: mount c c:\ mount e e:\ imgmount n "e:\images\NHL96.iso" -t iso e: cd e:\games\nhl96 then you just command "hockey" and game starts. NOTE! I do not know why I have to mount c: drive so this game will work. If you are worried about mounting c: drive, do not do it and find other way to make NHL96 to work in Dosbox

Game is NHL95PC and that is of course playable if you want #2 You can set NHL95PC to show all player numbers by pressing a tabulator from keyboard. There is no support for that in NHL94, but maybe it is possible to hex edit / code in it? #3 I just got some midi/8-bit music form net, you can find lot of 8-bit version music for example from Youtube.     I had Intel 486/66Mhz processor on my PC when NHLPA Hockey and NHL95 came out for PC. Then NHL96 released for PC and Finnish game magazine wrote something like this: "NHL96 is here and PC gamers have to update their computers". Well, that was exactly what happened to me. I tried to play NHL96 with my old PC, but after few days I went to computer store and got a new PC with Pentium processor and better graphics card.

    NHL95PC is very close to Genesis/NES NHL94, but not quite. For example one-timers are requiring much more accurate timing. Thanks for reminding about that arrow icon, it only appears if you select mouse as a controlling device. Game is very hard to play with mouse, there is a totally new challenge now

    Hi, either one of DOS versions, NHL Hockey or later release NHL95, do not have fighting. Fighting came to DOS versions on NHL96. Those DOS versions do not have a goalie control, it came to DOS versions on NHL96. DOS versions NHL Hockey and NHL95 support only 2 players, but only on same computer, there is no network play support. You can find some discussion about those both versions on this site, under topic NHL '95. Mainly information and updates to NHL95, but there is few discussions about NHL Hockey also.

    Hi, goodbyeccha's NHL15 coversion includes rinks in RINKS-folder. You got to have this on your NHL95-folder. You have to run rinkselect.bat for each individual game.
