This just in, Fank has finally done the impossible, and entered the double figures in the wins department... STL fans are in a blaze, Lindros, happy with the teams achievement gave this statement, "sometimes we lose "easy games" sometimes we pull of upsets... its a good feeling being in the top 8, this late in the season... even if it is for a brief period. The guys are stoked, and we can only hope results go our way, We have 8 games left, we are hoping to add to that total for a good round season"

-fank009 doing suprisingly well, giving fights in ALL of his matches, as opposed to be just cleanly swept all the time... Maybe a 2nd half comeback... but maybe not... combination of luc/lindros and hull seems to be working, having a nice 3+Gpa... Fuhr, in some cases doing the job, in some cases maybe not... But all in all, definetly performing better this season, and always, should never be underestimated.

Although it may not seem it, We do appreciate the work you put into the league... Ill try my best to catchup with everyone and Play my games... Sometimes these things happen, you just have to shake it off and charge on.

MTL still has problems with which player has what points... Houlys diagnosis... now its cicci with joe stats and simpson with cicci pts and recchi not points? joe=cicci pts cicci =simpson pts recchi = kamensky pts reverse Ciccis current points to joe, Simpsons to cicci, and kamenskys to recchi Just the player position has to be swapped thats all (not as severe as I was describing above)... (A is still being asigned A's points, just not the right value for A)

Just realised... That on season 2s records, that lindros got "traded" to the blues as well, (prolly as a result of that trade with Kudeluski earlier on)

As much as a time limit is okay... You have people like me... who live on the other side of the world, to throw the wrench in the works... Its hard when people have 10-20 picks till their next one to be certain you will get what you want... And then theres the idea about people worshipping weight or speed etc... And not being able to get what they want due to the auto pick... There may be no other options available... But I personally am against it... (prolly as much as i am against slackers, so no win situation in this department)

True... Draft leagues are completley different to classic leagues, Though They can (and should) be able to hold their own against some of the big guys... from my experience, (imbo) Im still the "weakest" player in the league, The 4 "newbies" to the league are definetly at least classic B material or better. Dan, Wether its a question aboust skill or drafting experience, You are the mastermind and you are allowed to do whatever you feel is necessary. Though, If you dont snake the draft, you are taking away the learning curve of what the draft is all about, and the stratergy in coming with the picks and who to trade with etc. The trading game is effectively nought for them. Thats my opinion on it... A non snake draft would hurt them in the long run rather than help them.

basically the newb coaches (in theory), get the best team, and the better players get the worse... (then you have someone like me picking la draft xD)

last league i ended up with what, 58 games or so?, so not entirely deserving that 1st pick, though i do agree with the snaking draft, although it does give those up the order the advantage, little to no use trading, cause the top allready have what they want and wont profit from any trades.

yeah, commitment is essential to complete the season, obviously i should have done an all nighter during the weekend, dropped some commitments with sport/family/friends (work?) begged a few people to play some games... yeah, obviously after 66 games, commitments an issue for me xD

rant part deux. the system, in essence is a crappy everyone loses system, like i said before, its good for slackers, but bad for those buds who have to play those slackers, the 2nd negative is that conflict of interest point. sometimes life happens, and those with power have to make decisions, (having been in a similar position, its a hard choice). after viewing the situation from the players side... i think its lazy. a cop out, an excuse to do less work. although... there is a flip side to it, finding the cause behind every game not played is a lot of work. all the followup and deciding who gets what is veey hard at times, and something i wouldnt want to do. so, that leads us to the q, is there another way???
