Some players have been slightly altered, but they wouldn't really change the whole feel of the game. Also, I don't know who "my guys" are. Just guys you control??? And I have no idea what you mean by control response. I am not editing anything in the backend, just ratings of players

You've got it bud! I think the only ROMs worth releasing are the ones I posted. There are V6/7, but they were working copies and not much would be different.

Good stuff guys, sorry I was late to the party. Kingraph and Smoz obv know way more than I do about everything anyways. @AquaLizard - One thing for Season 2 of the ROM we should notice is that I lowered a lot of guys checking rating, which should affect how our league feels in regards to hitting. If you look at Season 1 rosters vs. the Season 2 ROM as it is, and you'll notice a difference, especially among the top players. Take a look at the change pages in the excel sheet to see which guys had reduction in a given category. Ovechkin is down to a 11.6 checking ability for season 2, so he'll still bash everyone Aggression: For the Season 1 ROM, I tried to lower the aggression (every player was -1 what they'd have, Matt Martin and one or two other guys I forget, were the only 6's) to see if it limited penalties, but I don't think it did. If you look at average PP for each team or league average, it is pretty comparable to GDL or Blitz. When I last checked, I think VHL had fewer penalties overall, but I never checked the end-of-season stats. One season isn't enough to say anything about aggression + penalties, but this is something I am keeping an eye on. It could cause the CPU to get less dumb penalties I guess.

Hey guys, we are getting ready to wrap up a very successful season 1. Season 2 waitlist is now open. SEASON 2 DRAFT will (tentatively) begin second week of March, 2016. The goal is to finish the draft quickly, and finish the season before the unofficial NHL summer break. VHL Season 3 draft would then begin after GDL XV gets to ~mid/end of season. I want to begin timing the season to take place during GDL off-seasons as much as possible since many of us play both leagues. We will remain at 18 teams for the league because we did have 2/3 replacements during season 1. There is a max of 3 trades allowed during/after the draft. Attached is the working update of the ROM, excel sheet included, and we will use the future 2016 Trade Deadline ROM for the VHL2 draft. The V8 ratings will be very accurate to what we will draft, but I am still adding the finishing touches. To returning GM's - welcome back! Super tight race for 3-9 and for the coveted 12 slot, too! The Atlantic Division is completely up for grabs with 2 games left for three contenders, and NYR just off the pace after finishing up this week. The three "A" guys sit atop their divisions, with BUF and STL dominating throughout. I think this has been a great season, and a fantastic "experiment" as far as this league goes. I hope to have ALL of you back for season 2, with freshly painted rosters. This really has been a lot of fun for me, and I hope it has been equally fun for you. Thanks for joining this season, and good luck to all the rest of the way. This is a great group of buds and I hope to keep it together. I am aiming to start the draft for season 2 when GDL regular season is over, so be aware that we may begin as early as the first week in March. Mostly everyone has less than 10 games left, so this should not be a problem. Playoffs will begin immediately after the regular season. GMs will not get DNP's if they've made attempts to get games in. However, a few guys stand to get some DNP's which will affect a few things: 1. Playoff standing (-2 pts for each DNP) 2. Draft standing for season 2 (+3 pts for each DNP) 3. Invite for season 2 may not be extended I am already thinking of retracting down to 16 teams for season 2 since we've had a lot of replacements. I hope we don't have to do that, but it may make sense. I will check in with guys to make sure you're in for season 2 after the regular season. But, guys with DNP's may not be invited back if we need to lose a couple of teams. I'd love to have everyone back, personally. Great season guys, we have a tight playoff race for the top 12! -Skip

You're welcome guys. I have a new version ready, but wasn't sure if that trade frenzy was going to die down from last week. I will likely release the next version after the trade deadline, then do one last version at the start of the playoffs.
