  6. If I'm playing in the capitalism league with no problems, do I still have to play a test game?
  7. No need to gloat, now. Haha --2&B
  8. If the pinned topic at the top of this forum is any indication: Obviously the site isn't up yet so I assume we'd either keep them saved and upload them later. But maybe this will change given the state of the site... --2&B
  9. I had started work on a NHL 75 rom a while back but hadn't gotten very far and have since put the project on hold since school has started... What can I do to try to help? -2&B
  10. EA76 and I just chatted about this for a little bit - I definitely agree with him on this point. Obviously there will be leeway in when the games are played, but getting too lax with the scheduling could cause the league to crumble. I think I speak for EA76, and maybe alot of other 2on2-ers when I say that as long as any flexibility given with scheduling isn't taken advantage of, the league will be a success. Maybe something like bi-monthly deadlines and schedules based around "league nights" would be efficient? Maybe weekly check-ups are needed? Who knows... -2&B
  11. I've done some pondering, and this is what I think: 6 teams is one fifth of the NHL's 30 teams, so if we made the number of games proportionate to that, we'd be looking to play something in the neighborhood of 16.4 games. Having each team play each time at home once brings us to 12 games, which seems a little short. If we split the league into two Conferences, though, and each team played every team in the league twice (once at home, once away) and then played each team in their division another 2 times (once at home, once away), I believe that brings the game count up to 18, which seems like a fair number to me. It's not too daunting, but not brief to the point of being pointless. If each team played two games a week, the league would be ready for playoffs in less than 2-and-a-half months, so the season would fit the fast-paced action that 2on2 provides. Having each team play conference teams more often will allow for some mini-rivalries to develop, and would also make the Championship interesting as the teams would have only met twice prior. Am I over-analyzing this? The divisions could be as simple as California (Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Jose) vs. The World (Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Vancouver). Yeah... I'm definitely thinking about this too much. Well - that's my two cents! --2&B
  12. I got it, if that counts for anything. It's only one of the greatest movies ever...
  13. Wanna start a team with me? I'm not a great player, but I think I'm at least half-decent and I'm looking for a partner for the league!
  14. You guys wouldn't be looking for one more guy to join the league, would you? I'd love to be a part of this 2on2 league if there are any openings...
  15. I used to live in Greenville, SC when I was young (well, I still am young, so younger). I still remember getting a really nice Grrrowl jersey for my 8th birthday... In fact, here's a little something I did when I was teaching myself the very beginnings of NHL94 hacking: http://nhl94.com/forum/index.php?showtopic...amp;#entry12029 Would you want to try to do a current rom or a past rom? Maybe we can unite and make something happen. Trust me, I'm no expert (all I can really do at the moment are simple graphical hacks), but I'm learning...
  16. Bump. Any news on those rating systems, Clockwise or don16086? No rush, I just want to make sure that no one forgets! Thanks again!
  17. My screename is SECONDandBOWERY Always looking to play some exhibition games, but be warned... I'm absolutely terrible.
  18. I believe if you re-draw the net with black pixels instead of just trying to change the color via NOSE, you can accomplish this. Draw over the parts you want black with a pre-existing black in the palette and that should work... I think. Wait for someone else to either verify or disagree with this before you waste your time, though.
