For the love of god.. Why do we still say MTL is a top team? And why are Sweeney and Zhitnik "top" defensemen? Seriously, it's a bunch of garbage. MTL is NOT a top team and Bourque/Coffey/Housley are the best defensemen in the game. I see half of the "top 6" classic teams are not even included. Why does the circlejerk become so big?

Yeah. The C button stops rebounds and covers more space (giving you a higher chance at stopping the puck) but it freezes you in place for a short period of time. I like to use the C button as the goalie to gather the puck and start my counter-attack by passing it down to the opposing blue-line (where one of my forwards will be).

Well... we have asked if anybody would like to play with this hack in the Genesis Draft League on multiple occassions, however nobody has ever voted for it and I think there is a reason for that. We should clear some things up. You make it sound like skip put this hack in on purpose. I may be wrong, but I'm about 99% sure he doesn't know it's in the game lol. It was the default option in the ROM he used as a base. I know this because I made my own hack over the same ROM, and I ran a league with it in which me and a couple of other guys would say "What the f--- is wrong with this ROM? Something feels off..." Now it all makes sense lol. It was the hot/cold hack that I never put in.

It's not supposed to make sense. It's supposed to feel like NHL '94. These special hot/cold boosts are a hack made by smozoma and they have never been used in any of the major GENS leagues for a reason.

Because the skating gets messed up. The difference between a player's agility and speed should ALWAYS be the same or else you get unorthodox skating that is NOT in the classic version of the GENS version of NHL '94. In SNES, it doesn't seem to be the case, so I can see where you are coming from. And, how is it realistic when a player who normally is as agile as he is fast ends up with 55 agility and 80 speed for one game, then 80 agility and 55 speed for the next? I lost you there.

Couple of things... 1. Tyler Seguin is the best player in the game 2. Don't give a different hot/cold boost to each individual stat. Either group the bonuses or make it static.

We are about to enter the final two weeks of the season. All coaches are active now! (except hokkee?) The weekend is a popular time for NHL '94 activity, so I hope to see a lot of you guys online between tonight and Sunday night. Just remember.. if you put that effort in you can easily knock out 10-20 games over a couple of days. Nobody is busy, just lazy!

You play the regular season to qualify for the playoffs. I didn't say I am going to pick whoever I want to matchup; I just proposed a way to make up for the imbalanced replacements.

I don't think it is nuts. The matchups will most likely be: 1 vs 8 2 vs 5 3 vs 4 6 vs 7 If that's cool then I don't mind.
