Thanks for the info I'll try that.

Segathon is still alive and kicking, still manging to meet 4 times a year for the tourneys. Our biggest hurdle was finding a place to host it each time, none of us are renting the old college houses to trash so no one wants their place to smell like old beer and have holes in the walls

What if you just try the mscomctl.ocx file

if it doesnt work then no harm done

if it works but it doesnt do anything you can just delete it

and maybe it might even get nose to run!

How's everything back at the segathon ranch? You guys give the prohibition movement hope.

Anyway, you might need the Visual Basic run times.

yeah the Visual Basic won't install. what's missing?

Then:

Click Start > Type "Run", click that > Type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX"

See if that works for you...

people have already given you a bunch of tutorials..

1.

have you tried running the VB runtimes installer as administrator? i put instructions on how to get admin rights here.

2.

where did you put mscomctl.ocx?

3.

did you run this command: Click Start > Type "Run", click that > Type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" ?

4.

did you right click on NOSE.exe and select "run as administrator" ?
