philster79 Posted December 24, 2010 Report Share Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) Ok so I downloaded the files on my pc and it worked with no problems, but now ive downloaded the same file onto my laptop and when I run the emulator all I get is a black screen? any ideas? I am using a pentium 3 1.13ghz 512mb ram ibm thinkpad laptop original graphics card and all that. Thanks Just an update that I installed the gens emulator witout changing any of my laptop settings and the gens emulator works fine. smozoma Posted December 27, 2010 Report Share Posted December 27, 2010 before running the emulator, go into the Control Panel -> Display Settings and change to 16-bit colour. gens tries to switch to 16-bit when starting, so maybe it's getting stuck. EDIT: Oh wait, it's SNES that's not working. Which particular SNES emulator is this? ZSNES i guess? Anyway, i guess try the above, just in case it actually works for SNES..
