U_Got_Klimatized
Hi guys I was wondering would any generic A/V cables work with the Genesis 2nd gen. 16-Bit version or do you need specific genesis cables? Thx
eggink444
I recently bought this on eBay and it worked fine with my model 2 Sega.
U_Got_Klimatized
I recently bought this on eBay and it worked fine with my model 2 Sega. Can NON-genesis cables work as well? I seen some older a/v cables laying around but Im curious if the pins on them are the same?
eggink444
Not sure, I'm assuming it would work if the pins match up?
TheTome
Yea, if the pins match up then it can't hurt to try. There's pretty much no way you can damage your system by attaching the wrong plugs to your TV's inputs. And if it doesn't work either ebay, or hit up your local used video game store. I find that most places that sell retro systems tend to stock up on affordable cables for each system. The most you should have to spend is 5-10 bucks.
