jer_33
GENS '94 Capped I'm looking for league ideas, helpers and participants. Looking for A and B league players (like the '13 league), to draft 24 teams. My ideas: 1. Salary Cap (12-15 players, $10mil) 2. An initial draft, but would like seasonal drafting 3. At seasons end, 3 players (random positions) will "retire" and re-enter the draft 4. Debating Participants: 1. jer_33 2. Cheers, Jer Edited November 4, 2012 by jer_33
jer_33
Here is the completed spreadsheet, I've integrated it into smoz's blitz spreadsheet to refelct the true "OV" formula with the weight-bug fix: Edited October 19, 2012 by jer_33

jer_33
The bidding for players seems pretty intense - I like the idea of using the actual salaries.
kingraph
The bidding for players seems pretty intense - I like the idea of using the actual salaries. It'd be interesting to see salary/value ratio. For example, Selanne @ $300k >>>>>> Gretzky @ $3M! I'm assuming this would have to be weight-bug fixed. eggink444
Salaries would have to be either weight bug fixed or formula driven. Bidding on salaries sounds like a lot of fun but hard to organize.
jer_33
Using actual salaries paid in the '93/94 season (as per hockeyzone player salary database). I've got 100 players to finish up, then a little housework with the players that have no salary data. I think it will make for some interesting draft/team-building strategies. jer_33
Spreadsheet is complete. I've basically tacked the new information (handed/age/salary) onto smoz's blitz spreadheet to allow sorting by his adjusted OV formula (to account for the weight-bug fix). http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/14744-new-salary-cap-league-looking-for-ideas/#entry121594
