6 guys on the isles -- it's a team problem, not Tavares.

Most of those lightning guys are baaarely +, as one might expect on a team that scored 2 fewer goals than they allowed. (I was thinking of last season where they were -46 as a team, or -28 if factoring in PP/PK)

Plus/minus just isn't a very good individual stat to rate players on because it depends so much on how a player is used, and the quality of the team, not their individual abilities.

Frans Nielson on the Isles is respected as one of the better defensive forwards in the league, but he was -3 in the past couple years.

Jere Lehtinen won 3 Selkes, was over +20 for a bunch of seasons in a row, then suddenly was a single-digit guy. Went from his best season of +39 straight to a 0 the next. The team went from +76 to +19.

What would turn me off this ROM is that players are rated like new EA games so good players are high 80s and bad players are only like 10 points lower. Should stretch out the ratings to be more interesting.
