it is kind an actual thing. the claim is based on a real processing "trick." forget that the SNES wins the specs battle by like three to one and in all of the important categories (to me). blast processing!

Yeah SNES had better specs in pretty much everything, but Sega picked the ONE thing they had an advantage on and made it sound like it was awesome.

Like saying the Lightning are the superior team because they have the best goal-scorer in the league (2012). Or the points leader (2013).

Specs mean nothing. The game was just smoother on the GENS.

All sports games are better on Sega Genesis, except for NBA Live, which is really good on SNES.

In general, I felt the sports games were better on the Genesis than on the Super Nintendo. I felt NHL 95 was better on the SNES, however; it's a shame they had the goalie gloves on the wrong hands in the SNES version of 95.
