kingraph
Download these two files and put them in your GENS folder that has the kailleraclient.dll file as well and you'll have the option to record your games. This is the same files from here: http://p2p.kaillera.ru/#, just unzipped from a 7z file to save time okai_recorder.dll zlib1.dll
smozoma
@chaos Can these be added to the emulator on the website? (also, stretch goal, uploading of game recordings to the website, attached to league games!)

Yes eventually, once I finally finish updating the site to the new look.
skip
After you record, what program do you use to open the recorded game files?
aqualizard
You use Gens itself. Go to File > Netplay like you do to play a game. But then in the Change Mode drodown at the top, choose "Player" instead of (the default) "P2P".
skip
cool, thx @aqualizard!
aqualizard
You're Welcome. The player is extremely limited. I never found a way to skip ahead or rewind during playback. You just press play and gotta rewatch the whole damn thing. But!! To pause/unpause you hit ESCAPE. You will need whatever ROM was used when you generated the recordings. Technically ".krec" files aren't video files, they are just timestamps of all the button presses that occurred. These get sewn together with the ROM to re-enact the games. This makes for super-small krec. files, since so little data needs to be saved. 1
