SNES International Rom

I am proud to introduce to you the 2008 SNES International ROM!

This ROM features the top 28 international hockey teams, from Austria to the USA, and:

* all non-fictional players

* fully redone home and away jerseys

* fully redone banners and text

* new playoff seeding

* in the international spirit, no center-ice logos for any team

This is a JUICED BETA version of the ROM. I will be making an unjuiced beta of the ROM and putting it out shortly as well so that there is indeed a difference between Canada and the Netherlands.

Things that still need to be done include setting lines, so please provide your insight! I can change rosters as well if I glaringly missed someone.

Please enjoy and comment on any bugs you might find. It was a lot of hard work but hopefully that shows through.

EDIT: version 0.2 now with non-crashy Switzerland and Czech Republic Fix!

I have found some flaws on this rom:

1. The team abbrevations for Austria, China, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania and Switzerland are wrong.

Their real abbrevations:

Austria - AUT

China - CHN

Kazakhstan - KAZ

Latvia - LAT

Lithuania - LTU

Switzerland - SUI

2. Sometimes a player turns himself into a Zamboni (see picture)

3. The socks on some teams are inaccurate.

4. The teams Ukraine and USA are not selectable in Playoffs mode

Well, the abbreviations I've used and the abbreviations per the IIHF don't have to match considering the limited number of teams in the rom, but i'll fix them. Are you saying you don't like KZK??!? :)

oo!

Was this a Swiss or German player?

3. The socks on some teams are inaccurate.

Which teams?

I can change the main color socks but changing the trim is difficult because sock trim and uniform trim share the same uniform color.

4. The teams Ukraine and USA are not selectable in Playoffs mode

Neither are All Stars West and East, and no one has found the byte which allows the program to 'roll over' in playoff mode for me to include these teams at this time.

Thanks for the feedback!

ahahahaha damn.

I have a rom i made where the center icemen is ALWAYS a zamboni when he touches the puck....damn you for stealing this from me!

No no, it's because I mistakenly entered a player number as 'FF' (or at least I do believe that)

Austria - The entire team is not 99-100 percent

Belarus - Defense: A. Bashko is not 99-100%

China - Goalie: Yu Wang is not 99-100%

Croatia - Fowards: Michael Novak, M. Novak (same?) both not 99-100%

V. Zibret (fix weight) is also not 99-100%

Latvia - Goalie: B. Masalskis is not 99-100%

Lithuania - Fowards: Grant Jennings (fix weight), Bryan Fogarty not 99-100%

Netherlands - Capitalization is off on some of the defensive players

C. Euverman, A. Schaaksma are selectable in defense and offense.

Slovakia - L.Visnovsky is selectable in defense and offense.

Slovenia - Game crashes going into team roster/edit lines.

Sweden - Fowards: Samuel Pahlsson (fix Weight), Fredrik Modin, N. Ekman (fix weight) are not 99-100%

That's about it, I was going to select Japan, but you might want to change skin tone. They're currently light yellow (doesn't look very good as home team), don't get me wrong, I get it, it's funny, but another shade of yellow and they'll be simpsons characters. So with that being said or typed, I'll look foward to your other roms/fixes.

Hmm... could be my colorblindness in play as I certainly didn't intend it to be funny. I'll look over the fixes when I get back from work tonight, thank you.

Great Rom! I have been trying to make the rosters up-to-date with real stats, the arenas and so on. But there is a serious problem....
When i want to edit the players in the team of Sweden or Slovenia, always get a runtime error message.
I know nobody reads this thread long time but i could accept some help
