Slapped together some highlights from games 1 & 2...

Overall, a great series vs CHI/Zalex! All of the games, except for game 5 (one of those "nothing goes right/everything wrong" games) were very close. A couple of bounces here and there and this series could have easily gone the other way. I was fortunate to have come out ahead for my first series' win. I have nothing but respect for Zalex, who was instrumental in my Blitz development when I started. I'm sure he'll be back for vengeance in Blitz 08! I'll post the game videos up in the future, or maybe just a highlight reel, but here's what ended up being the game winning goal and series clincher. Just for fun, I clipped all the checks from one game I had vs. Houly to see how it would look in a quick highlight reel. It was 43 checks, currently tied for the most in a game for season 07. http://www.blitz94.c...asp?gameid=4323 It's kind of hard to focus as some checks were AI...so look for the yellow markers where the replay was focused if you can. FYI, I LOST that game, lol.

Here's the 1st attempt at game #1 with Mav: Clearly he gave up when he chimes in around 2:27 with "gg" on AIM. The game locks up because he's quit the game. He then claims to have disconnected, ok at this point we're all supposed to play stupid. So, figuring I can beat him regardless I agree to play again, replaying game 1. Here's the 2nd attempt at game #2: In this game he doesn't disconnect. He instead moves his goalie to the corner, takes his goalie completely out of the game, and keeps up the integrity of a 12 year old. To top it off the save didn't work. Not a huge deal. But mark me down now for 4 (did not plays) vs Mav. I'm not putting up with this bs …
