NOSE

is it possible to move LW to C and RW to LW when the C gets a penalty automatically when line changes are off? i understand that you can set it up so the RW takes C automatically, but iv tried several different combos to have the LW take C and the RW take LW with no luck. Is a manual in-game swap the only option? this would be very helpful to most of us in GDL if possible. I'm guessing the LW isn't going to change automatically unless he gets injured or penalized

it was easy from the old nose site but now its gone and cant get this file to install so nose will work.

I don't know if it's a bug, but when I open a 94 rom in Nose, the overall rating of the players are wrong... Around 40 for all players and 24 for the goalies... And if I change the rating, the overall rating don't change... It never append before... I installed a new version of Nose and the bug is style there... Any solution ?

Nose is such an awesome program, even idiots can use it! right now i'm working on a fantasy type rom with the disney ducks and a collection of the players from the movie slapshot in place of the ASE. any ideas? i'm trying to think about movies with hockey scenes, so far all I can think of is wayne and garth from waynes world.

every time i try to open NOSE i get "install and update windows common control active x controll dll (mscomctl.ocx) any help on how to fix it??

I am currently using NHL 94(June 28 NHL2010 rosters,for my Sim League, and i was wondering if i could add more players to the team. every time i try to it says: "You are currently unable to more players to this team due to limitations imposed by the Game engine!". how come NHL 11 by clockwise doesn't open in nose? anybody been able to get it to open. want to add my custom hockey dudes.

Does NOSE work with Vista? Could not get it to work, it said I needed mscomctl.ocx downloaded that, but I am not sure if I could that to install either. Thanks,

I've scoured through the topics created in the NOSE sub-forums, but I haven't seen a topic on how to delete a goaltender from the roster. Everytime I try downloading NOSE I go to extract the file and the file seems to be empty everytime. I'm not sure if it's a windows 7 thing but I wanted to see if anyone could help me with that problem.

I created a copy of the NHL 95 ROM and did some editing to reflect actual trades that took place during the season. However, NHL 95 seems not to recognize the new uniform numbers that the players have in NOSE. They are correct in NOSE, but they show up as the numbers that the previous players wore in those same slots in the game. For example, I created a player for the Islanders, copied Kirk Muller's data over to that player, then changed his uniform number. I then deleted the original Kirk Muller with the Canadiens. I repeated this process for the other players involved in the Canadiens-Islanders trade that year. But all of the players are wearing the numbers of the pla…

I downloaded the NOSE editor, but when i open the program, my Norton 360 opens and says a suspicious file is trying to open itself, and I should block it. Does it have a virus, or is this normal?

I have successfully hacked and reorganized all team pointers for Tjans Coach K editor, only thing i am missing is how the RoM grabs the logos and pallettes for each team...It has to be tied to assembly, plus still looking for the sim value of teams as well. Maybe they are all tied to one headder. The header i found does not have these included. Please help WBOY....i was told you were the one who expanded the NHL Roms, hope you might have a lead or 2, as much of my hack was based on docs for hacking the NHL games.

I went on hexaddicts and everytime I download NOSE and go to unzip it, says there is no files to unzip. I downloaded EARE just fine. Just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if that file is no good?

To fix the issue with edited tiles & layouts not being reflected when you load the NHL 93 30 team 1.0 Alpha rom ... Change the value: 0003389A to 0008914A Found at the following offsets: 00008870 and 0001233A Note the tiles that map the layout of the screen/rink exist under (offset wise) the new [uncompressed] tiles (different/new location to the original rom).
