Hey guys, please avoid commenting after a bid has been made. The reason being is that I only look at the time of the last bid and when I see it expire after 24 hours, then I can go in, lock thread and award the player to the winning bid. However if you go in and make a comment, it resets the clock and just delays things in the end. I'll delete comments if there's no bid attached to them. Thanks!

I don't think Richard Smehlik is in NHLPA 93, but someone drafted him. Just an FYI.

So far the highest bid is 25 million....for two buds, Mario and JR. jbalicki10 is very aggressive with the bidding early on.

I'm going to post up some more names of players that can be bid on to try and help move things along since we are mostly just filling second line players/backups now. You can still send me names, if the player you want is not there.

Hi guys, First I'd like to thank you guys for participating. There's no question it hasn't gone as smooth as I envisioned. In an ideal world, I'd have software to do this kind of thing and the process would simplified immensely. However for the time being, I have to find a happy medium that keeps it fun, protect coaches from themselves for overbidding, and complete in a reasonable time frame. The bidding will start sunday. When bidding, you must start with a bid of 1 million for each player and increase your bid in 1 million dollar increments only. How to bid: State the amount you want to pay him each year and then list the amount of years you want him for. Example: 20 million/2years....this means you are paying him 20 million for each season and you signed him for two years. It would NOT mean 20 million divided by 2 years = 10 million per season. I don't want to try and work out averages....so just state the amount per season and for how many seasons. I seen a bidder that has several players won. (Over the player limit) They still have other bids as well that are winning. What is the ruling on that?

I was gonna wait a couple days but for the sake of speeding things up so rosters can filled. You can bid on any player in the '93 season. Create a thread for them in the appropriate subforum (forwards, or defensemen or goalies). Good Luck!
