So, time for an update pack: My "The Real" rom hack is simply put: fixed rosters (and jerseys) according to the actual 1993-94 season. I've fixed a few bugs but most prominently added this: Defense control is now ON by default! Huge thanks to @smozoma for this hack finding! Amazing! Menu defaults are: 5, 10, 20 minutes. Penalties: On, no offsides. Line changes: On. Goalie: Manual. I've also made and included new 1on1, 1on2 and 3on3 roms based on the "The Real" hack. These have: 3, 5 & 7 minute periods (instead of the default 5, 10, 20 which is retained in the 5on5 rom). An additional 3on3 rom that has 2 defenders and 1 forward (to make use of the defense controls) alongside the 3on3 with 3 forwards. Line changes off, but supported. Penalties off. Goalie control: manual. NHL94_xstioph's_'the_real'_roster_hack_pack-2019.7z

I picked this bad boy up, and it's definitely legit. The cable length is 10 feet, all the action is smooth and solid. I also picked up one of the USB offerings, and it too works great. This is available via Amazon, and I recommend it to anyone who attends local tournaments. If you play Genesis games online or via emulator, I recommend the usb variant. https://www.amazon.com/Retro-Bit-Official-Genesis-Controller-6-Button-Arcade/dp/B07P255V8J/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=6%2Bbutton%2Bgenesis%2Bcontroller&qid=1573569925&sr=8-4&th=1 This is not an affiliate link or a sponsored promotion. I just figured if everyone in the community had one, they wouldn't have to worry about what controller they end up with when they attend tournaments, as there are a ton of different options out there.

Hi Guys, First off, I'd like to thank everyone for joining the league! We seem to have a ton of new guys playing this season. I know there have been guys having issues with getting set up for direct connect on RetroArch. Thanks for being patient, and for those of you who are still having issues, please post in Discord. A huge shoutout to @danTML7 for helping some guys out with their setup. Luckily, this is really a one and done kind of deal; once you are set up, you should be good, until you change your computer or router. I plan on setting the Team Selection Drafts up for Friday, November 15th and will go into Saturday, November 16th. There will be a separate draft for each sub league. I will announce who is in what league on Thursday, along with the draft order. The way the draft works: - The draft order is randomly selected. All Star teams are not allowed to be selected. Each coach selects 1 team that they will play the 40 game season with from the available teams remaining. - You can post your picks in the Team Selection Draft thread, or the #gens-draft or #snes-draft channels on Discord. - There will be 1 hour deadlines to make your selection. The deadline times are set based on Eastern Time, and are set between the hours of 5PM-12AM. So, the deadline for the 1st pick is Friday, 5PM EST, 2nd pick is Friday, 6PM EST, etc. - You have up to your deadline to make your pick. If you miss your deadline, you team will be assigned to you AT THE END OF THE DRAFT USING BEST TEAM AVAILABLE (based on tier). You will be allowed to change that team and select one of the available teams up to 12PM EST Sunday. - You do not have to wait for your deadline to make your pick. For example, let's say it is 6PM EST, you are pick 5. Your deadline is 9PM EST. But, the 4 coaches ahead of you have already made their selection. You can go ahead and choose your team. Think of your deadline as "up to 9PM EST". The draft tends to go fast, because most guys are around waiting to pick. - If you don't think you will be available to make your pick, you can leave a "pick list". Send me a DM on Discord (or ask on Discord if anyone will be around and can take your pick list). Leave enough teams on the list to guarantee you will get one of them (Example: We are on pick 2, but you are pick 5 (3 picks later), so leave 4 teams on your pick list). - Please keep Discord running on your phone, so you can get notifications when it is time for you to draft. - After the draft, I will generate the league schedule and we will start league play. League play will begin sometime early next week. Stay tuned for more information about that. Ask draft related questions here or in the #gens-draft or #snes-draft channels on Discord. Any league questions can be asked when the time comes for that!

Fall '19 Classic League Registration! Register HERE For those of you who have registered on the NHL94Online site before, then registration will be easy. You just need to choose "Yes" for the question "Have you registered for a league before?", type in your site user name and password (NOTE: This is different than your forum password and user name, unless you made it the same), and choose the league you will be joining (right now, you can select Genesis or SNES). Then, hit "Submit" and you will be placed on the waiting list. It's that easy. For those of you who have not registered on the NHL94Online site before, then there is a little more info needed to complete registration. You need to choose "No" for the question "Have you registered for a league before?" and enter a user name and password (it's common to use the same user name as your forum name or Discord user name). You will also be asked to fill out some more information about yourself (email, location, timezone, Discord user name, system preference). Then choose the league you will be joining (GENS or SNES). Then hit "Submit" and you will be placed on the waiting list. You will then need to play a test game to make sure your connection is set up properly. This does not affect your place on the waiting list, but you cannot play in the league without playing the test game. If you have played in other online leagues before, you are technically confirmed already. Please PM or email me (chaos[at]nhl94[dot]com) and I will change you to Confirmed status. Registration deadline will be Sunday, November 10th. The day after, we will hold a Team Selection Draft. The draft order will be randomized. After the draft is completed for each league, the schedules will be released and the league will begin. If everything goes smoothly, the league will start the following Monday after the draft. Schedules may be posted before that time, which means you can start playing, but officially the league would start on that Monday. Stay tuned on Discord leading up to November 10th for more information on the Team Selection Draft. NOTE: This season, we will be using RetroArch version 1.7.9 for playing online games. Everyone who is playing in the league needs to make sure they have this set up. I suggest everyone play a test game to make sure it is working. Some of you already have experienced Netplay via RetroArch, so please help the others who have yet to try it out. While the relay server (previously used over the last year) has become unreliable connection-wise, I suggest learning how to set up direct connect (IP reservation and port forwarding on your router). If you have previously installed RetroArch, I would suggest making a copy of your retroarch.cfg file located in the main RetroArch folder (for Windows users). Then, delete the whole RetroArch folder and download the new package that is in the Downloads section on nhl94online.com. This will be the official package we are using. Please follow the instructions on the "Getting Started" page (link below) for setup instructions. Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions/problems! (either via PM here, email, or Discord) For more info on setting up direct connect using IP reservation and port forwarding, please check out this guide. Note: If you are having trouble/issues with setting up direct connect, please post in the #retroarch-help channel on Discord. I would suggest giving it a shot yourself first, before requesting help, so at least you will be familiar with certain things when those helping are asking you questions. There may also be situations where you cannot do port forwarding on your router (don't have access to it, ISP prevents it, etc). This will be handled on a case by case basis. LEAGUE INFO The season is 40 games. There will be no limit on registration this season; as long as you register and played a successful test game, you will play. We will divide the registrants up into different League Levels based on skill and experience in online leagues. The different League Levels will be decided after registration is over. If you register after the registration period is over, you will be placed on the Waiting List for the league. Don't worry if you end up on the Waiting List, there is a strong chance you will end up taking over a team during the season! 40 game leagues will have the same 6 games/wk checkpoints as the past few seasons. You CAN NOT sign up for multiple league levels (i.e. GENS and SNES). Only those who are reliable will be allowed to do so, at the discretion of us admins. This will allow you to concentrate on one league. For those coaches that are new, I suggest practicing and becoming familiar with a few teams. This way, you will have multiple teams on your "Draft Board" to select from during the Team Selection Draft. Note, there will not be more than 14 teams in a league level, so with at most 14 teams drafting, you will have a good shot at a Tier A or B team. You can contact any veteran coach to play some exhibition games, or practice against the computer. Please post here or in the Introduction Thread after you register. Also, you must join our Discord Server (link at end of post). Whenever you are available, you can post in the #testgame thread on the server and request a test game. Good luck! If there are any questions or problems, feel free to PM us or email us at chaos[at]nhl94[dot]com, or KingRaph at kingraph[at]nhl94[dot]com. INFORMATION FOR NEW GUYS Read This - Guide for New Members If you are new to the league, welcome! We are a big friendly community here, and there are a number of guys who are always around willing to help the new guys out. First things first, you need to register for NHL94.com (this site), as well as on the nhl94online.com site (registration link at the beginning of this post). It is also required to have a Discord screen name, since that is the main method of communication for scheduling games. Once you are registered, the next step is to set up a test game. You can use the forum links below and post your availability. You can also post on the Discord server, in the #test-games channel and request a game (this is recommended, since there are more active users checking in on Discord). One of the veterans will send you a PM or a message on Discord (or feel free to add some veterans onto your Discord Friend List and message them yourselves). A test game needs to be played in order to make sure your emulator/network settings are correct. Once the test game is played, the veteran will confirm you on the nhl94online site. Once this is done, you are set until the season starts. A few days before the season starts, usually the day after registration ends, we will be holding a Team Selection Draft to choose teams. The draft will be held in the forums, so please make sure you register! An email will be sent out to all registrants before the draft, so it is important to register using an email you commonly check (also check your Spam or Junk folder). Once teams are selected, the schedules will be put up on the site and you can start playing your games. There will be another post announcing the start of the season, with information on how to log games, contact other coaches, and how to make the playoffs. Also, keep an eye on the Discord, as information is usually posted there first. Everything you need to play can be downloaded in one package from the nhl94online.com site. On the main page of the site, the Downloads section is located bottom right. This contains the ROMs used for the league, along with the emulator cores and the current RetroArch frontend. I hope we get some new guys who recently participated in some of our live tournaments!! Again, if you have any questions, please email me (chaos[at]nhl94[dot]com) or PM me via the forums. Hello...i am back again...this time to offer you my entire collection for custom teams for NHL 2002...please follow instructions in my previous post for using these jerseys as 'Custom Teams' inside NHL 2002...these jerseys have been made for the last 12 years more or less...so this collection is massive ...DO NOT LOAD this entire file in the game as the overload will make the game crash...pick about 30-40 teams max and remove and use at will...I am happy to finally share this collection....one note: I made quite a few jerseys but a lot have been adapted from various files in the internet . Just thought I let you know. Hope you will enjoy. Any Questions? feel free to write to me. Cheers link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15K3t24nk3rOCrRQwy-GOylI3L_pyE_2S/view?usp=sharing

Amazing Game! The AI is excellent. Playing the computer is actually fun and somewhat challenging. The lack of manual goalie is made up for with amazing Defensive AI. They really clog the middle and while the deke is still a very good move it is not money or cheesy. They will often level you or force a bad shot. So much more of a Hockey simulation than any other version. Really has all the best parts of 92, 93, 94, and 95! Other awesome stuff, Full Season Mode, Ron Barr including speech, plus an awesome rink announcer, Anthems (no kneeling), USA and Canadian Flags, Back up Goalies Play, Varied and accurate center ice logos, Sound of the boards, goalie pads, sticks, pucks, etc...., better music, more dynamic and accurate crowd, guy blowing a single horn at times, Jumbotron including Fan Meter and other cool stuff, Ref retrieves puck and goes to box and signals penaties, calendar, 4 actual accurate lines, scratches and deeper rosters, 1993 season celebrated, Stars in Minnesota, No Ducks or Panthers, 3 Stars, skate out after being announced EA Sponsor, Shows total goals when a player scores for season or playoff not just that game, more accurate goalie pulls like when down 1 or 2, not just when down 2, visual line changes when players go on and off, dynamic crowd, announcement of 1 minute left in the period, so much more amazing game, an actual Stanley Cup presentation and skate with the Cup, Long Live DosBox!

Issue 8: Audio Stuttering and Slow Framerates (PC only) This is probably one of the most common issues I hear about - "My audio is stuttering!!!" The problem - Audio stutters because of the video frame rate is incorrect. All retro consoles and console cores on RetroArch strive for a ~60fps frame rate (retro consoles and games are designed to run on 60Hz, which is 60 frames/sec (or close to it - this is NTSC spec, 16.7ms/frame * 60 frames = ~ 1 second). Your PC/laptop monitor usually runs on 60Hz refresh rate, so the video should be flawless with no slowdown. Simple, this should work perfectly, right? Sometimes yes, sometimes no..... Even though your monitor's refresh rate is set to 60Hz, Windows has overall control on what to allow programs to run at (via your graphics card's video driver). So, even with a 60Hz refresh rate monitor, and a program that displays video at 60Hz rate, Windows can tell your program to go F itself and only allow it to run at 30Hz (example). This problem is a major one in Windows 8-10, and usually happens with programs that are running in a windowed mode. Why is the audio stuttering? Well, monitor refresh rates aren't ALWAYS a perfect 60Hz. Depending on many factors (heat is one), the refresh rate fluctuates, very slightly (for example, it might bounce around between 58-61 Hz). This isn't a major problem, because these small changes are not noticeable by eye to us. Fortunately, RetroArch monitors this. In order to sync up the audio to the video properly, it "adjusts" the audio to the refresh rate. So, if one minute, the refresh rate is 58Hz, it will slow down the audio to match it up with the slower video rate. If another minute, it's at 61 Hz, it will speed up the audio to sync it with the video. The audio stuttering occurs when your refresh rate is something absurdly different (like 50Hz, or 30Hz). Well, now, the audio will sound like absolute crap, even though to you, the video might still be running at an OK speed. So, the problem isn't the audio, it's the video. The solution - First, we need to check what the actual frame rate is of your monitor. This can be checked in RetroArch, under Settings-Video. You will see 3 important values: Vertical Refresh Rate, Estimated Screen Framerate, and Set Display-Reported Refresh Rate. Vertical Refresh Rate - This is the rate that RetroArch uses to sync the audio and video. This is 60Hz by default. Estimated Screen Framerate - This is the actual current frame rate of the monitor. This will fluctuate and that is normal (see description above). Though, the fluctuation should be small. This value should be very close to the "Vertical Refresh Rate". If not, you will see slowdown in video and screwy audio. This shows a deviation from the "Vertical Refresh Rate" in a percentage, and also shows a frame count. Set Display-Reported Refresh Rate - This is the refresh rate the your monitor is set to. If you change your monitor's refresh rate in Windows, it will be displayed here. This should be 60Hz (except in very special cases, like high-end gaming monitors). If it isn't set to 60Hz, change it (in Windows) following this guide - How to change monitor's refresh rate. After you change it, you will need to exit and restart RetroArch. The important one to look at is "Estimated Screen Framerate". What value is this? Is it close to 60Hz? If so, you can leave it alone, your audio is most likely fine, and you don't have this problem, or something else is causing it. Many people running older laptops with Windows 8 or 10 will see "Estimated Screen Framerate" in a range of 30Hz-60Hz. This is Windows controlling the frame rate via your video card. Many times, the easiest solution is to play in fullscreen mode (hit the "f" key to toggle fullscreen mode). You should see your "Estimated Screen Framerate" jump up to ~60Hz. So, what's the solution? Play in fullscreen mode. If this still doesn't fix the problem, I suggest trying a different video driver (under Settings-Driver). The default is D3D11 (Direct3D 11), but try using the "gl" driver. After changing the driver, you will need to close and restart RetroArch to see an effect. Then, try again, under Settings-Video, looking at "Estimated Screen Framerate", toggling between windowed mode and fullscreen.

@chaos in the running for bud of the year. I edited my post because it said, "front runner," instead of, "running." Can't forget about @halifax who will surely be a favorite. @kingraph also got his first KO94 title. Who's it gonna be? What will they be wearing on the berber carpet? Don't mean to take any thunder away from @skip & @slapshot67 NHL20 rom (seriously, go download it), but I'm going through my old files and forgot about some of this stuff. All the skaters from the league on the site had their own stat pages with their ratings, which can't be displayed here, but I can share the hockey card scans. I cut out every skater and stylized them in the theme of the site. Some samples below: Anderson Whitmore Roy Hextall Sakic Olcyzk Roenick Yzerman Bure (Super Series - Moscow Central Red Army) Each team had it's own stylized login screen as well. The blog would rotate background images, too. North Stars login Blues login One of the random blog backgrounds that would rotate (half of Hulls' missing foot would have been covered by content) Also made a jacket insert for a Genesis box, and cart sticker for the game Have a bunch of stuff that I want to post, like the sprite patch so that this stuff is on the forums. As an aside, I just noticed that Wboys' hexaddicts.com was available for registration so I picked it up. Should be able to get the old pages back from archive.orgs' Wayback machine.

First I'd like to thank @clockwise for volunteering to look after this. He's the 2v2 guru imo. Just some thoughts from comments made already 1. I'd say for the first one, we leave money out of it. 2. I'm kinda torn on how teams are picked. I like the idea of just picking a buddy and playing. But I'd voted for captains not being able to pick other captains. Pairs would likely be more even and produce closer games, which is always more fun than blow outs. 3. I'd recommend keeping it on the same day(instead of seperate days). Most people that play on their favourite systems are there for two nights. They'd now have to stay three nights just to play 2 v 2. There's King players and there's Duke players. I think everyone should have a chance to play 2v2, the same day. This also means I need to re-visit scheduling for King of 94. I've been looking at some ways of reducing time and games. ex. Having 4 RR wins (instead of 3) to move on the final bracket and putting the rest in the single elim wild card bracket to qualify. Also, going back to a best of 1 on the loser bracket side until the final 4 perhaps.

Will be creating a custom ROM with equalized ratings, containing all of the attendees for both consoles. Plan is to have at least 2 consoles going, so, 8 players being able to play at once, minimum, to help speed up the tournament. undecided on the # of games each team should play to qualify for the playoffs, but I feel like the championship should be first-to-4, best-of-7. I will be providing the awards for all 4 coaches. @corbettkb suggested having the SNES tournament on Genesis day and the Genesis tournament on the SNES day so it doesn't interfere with the KO94 bracket play. Which is a great idea and hopefully we can have more guys stay for both days as a result. Never to early to start planning. I already have my bags by the door.

That NOSE package "supports wboy's NHLPA '93 30-team ROM" To work with a 32 team ROM (there's such a thing?), it needs updated .ini files in order to recognize the additional teams in the ROM. Hopefully slapshot has them. If they are provided, please @ me and I can update the NOSE package with the latest .ini files.

We know you'll be there bud! To explain briefly on the round of 32 being 1 and done...... We are under more time constraints this time around for both tournaments, so everything must end on time. This will save time on both tournaments We are starting one hour later this time to give people a bit more time to drive in, and to give our crew more time to setup at the venue, as we will not be able to setup until the day of the tournament. Going back two years, we have only two upsets in that opening round, both coming from the #17 seed beating a #16 seed. Coincidentally both games involve @Votaw. Additionally only 4 total games were forced to a game 3 situation. In that opening round as a higher seed you should beat up on your opponent and get the win. It also does put a spark of hope for the lower guys knowing, that if they get lucky, they might be able to steal one from a good player. Their chances of beating a top guy are awful. -Trojan

Hey Fellas, I don't think there's many forums buds here from Edmonton (Matticefire is the only one I know of). But, having a tournament there that I had there from two years ago. I have a friend that lives about 30 mins away from the venue so I'm going to visit him for the weekend and throw on a tourney while I'm at it. https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/doug-weight-classic-ii-nhl94-tournament-registration-77751417583

ESPN felt that EA's EASN logo resembled it's own a little too much and threatened to take legal action if they didn't abandon the EASN brand name. There was also a short-lived EASN magazine, like, 5 issues. EA created the then-new, EA Sports logo for it's sports franchises in 1993.

PS2NHL94.bin This is the version of NHL'94 that came with the Playstation 2 version of NHL'06. EA/Sony used fake player names and logos due to licensing issues (for example, most players were retired so no longer in the NHLPA). Maybe someone could put together a table mapping the fake player names to the real ones, and the various fake logos. Extracted by elfor on Discord - Thanks! The story goes that Brian Provinciano, who made Retro City Rampage (not to be confused with River City Ransom), worked on putting 94 into 06. Here's an interview with him in which he mentions his work on it, at 27m: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpAZ8Acwu6A#t=27m If anyone downloads and plays it, please post a few screenshots!

I'd also like to note that you should NOT have Hamachi running when you try connecting (if you have Hamachi installed). This will cause problems. Also, there may be some situations where canyouseeme.org cannot connect, but you will still be able to host a game. So don't use it as an end-all be-all, still attempt to host a game with someone and have them try to connect. If there are any issues, I am happy to try and help troubleshoot your setup. If you don't feel comfortable messing around with settings, we can try doing a Teamviewer remote desktop setup, where I can connect and try some things out. This tends to go quicker, too (Teamviewer is free software, you don't need to register) Link to Teamviewer - TeamViewer 14

Wanted to wait for the dust to settle a bit and give myself a little time to reflect on the event before I offered my thoughts. First and foremost, to the man, the myth. the legend, @halifax: I tried my best to arrive a little early on Saturday to help out in the event that you needed any of the CRTs' I brought, or the consoles and controllers. But when I arrived, everything was already well in hand. That's a testament to how well everything was laid out and planned for. Even with all the moving parts you had to deal with, it never seemed stressful. I know I thanked you profusely for setting everything up and hosting a great event and I meant it. Everyone here really appreciates you and the amount of effort and dedication it took to pull everything together. The fact that we couldn't drink and the food truck didn't come through is unfortunate, but that's just life. Can't expect everything to be perfect. Really enjoyed our series as well, though it's tough to lose on a penalty shot like that. I felt like the '94 gods were smiling on me after you had 3 penalty shots in game 2. I think I spent all my beginners luck on our series as @Fed tuned me up pretty good in the next round. I can't say I'd do nearly as well if saddled with the same task of running this tournament. We are all fortunate to have you as a leader of this community. Great job; you have a lot to be proud of. To the current belt holder and Genesis NHL'94 champion, @kingraph, congrats on your first of what will probably be many titles! I know there's a lot of pressure and expectations coming in with you being one of the most feared and revered players and you rose to the occasion big time. It was a treat to watch you play on the big screen in the greatest NHL'94 series I've ever had the pleasure of watching. You're a great guy and I enjoyed chatting with you as well. @angryjay93 getting that 3-peat would have been epic, but you're a legendary player nonetheless and it was great to watch you in the finals and pick your brain a bit on the game. I've had a chance to see the final game 7 a few times from the stream as well. Bit of a bad break in OT with the mass of humanity that was right inside the blue line above the left face-off circle. Looked like you were going to get a break out of the zone but the puck squirted free and Sakic got that one-timer off from the high in the slot; it's a 50/50 chance of being a goal. Didn't want to see either of you lose but we could't ask for anything more than a game 7 in OT with you two. The 2on2 marathon session till 5am was a blast and I was in stitches. I probably would have needed a doctor had I laughed any harder. Great to finally meet you as well. Great guy. @smozoma it was great to play against you in our series and finally meet you after all of the help you've given me over the years. I don't think we've played in a playoff-type scenario since 2009 in the NHL91.com playoffs. Really felt like I had you dead to rights after our first game, but you battled back and overcame a two goal deficit to send me to the losers bracket. Yuuuuge upset against Raph as well. I know all of us were pulling for you to go deep and maybe even into the finals. It felt like it was your day at one point in the tournament and you were gonna be the cinderella story of KO94-4. Great job with the brackets and taking care of all the hardware related issues, too. You're a pillar in the community and I can't imagine what it would be like without you here and all that you've contributed to this game. @IAmFleury'sHipCheck one of the big highlights of KO94-4 was finally meeting you and being able to hang out. It's easy to see why you're so well liked. The, 'EA special' was in full effect in our series and I didn't have an answer for it! At least I got a pass shot by you from center ice, which is somewhat redeeming. I never play well with Calgary for some strange reason. Have to think that having all of those exis with AJ played some part in that. Awesome personality, awesome guy. Can't wait to see you in the next one. @Coffey excellent job with the stream. Hiccups always happen during these type of events but it turned out great and it really added to the atmosphere. Helping you get that big CRT in your car it really hit me how much you had to do for this. Thanks so much. Seeing you rotate jerseys throughout the event was really cool, too. Would love to have the chance to do a little color commentary on the stream next time around. @jer_33 @aqualizard @AtomicRaven @stantanator great to meet you guys and chat a bit. Everyone was really laid back and easy to talk to. Hope to see you in the next one! Also, Stanton better have his legal name change to Stantonator complete by KO94-5. @Mikail, whose forum handle I can't remember. What a stone cold killer! I remember talking to some of the SNES buds and how everyone was saying that the field was pretty wide open during the tournament. Apparently not! Watching him chilln-like-a-villain leading up to the finals with @DAF he was on his own, eerily silent. I just gave him a wide berth so he could focus on getting ready. And even with his hand cramping up he still swept a great player like DAF. I chatted with him for about 10 mins after the final since I really don't know the guy at all and was curious as to how he picked up the game and got so good at it. He told me, growing up, he played his brother and his brothers friend every time he played. So, it was actually two-on-one every game! He said that, "they would just screen the goalie and I had to find a way to win." If that isn't a proving ground for getting great at NHL'94, I don't know what is. He also said on stage that he, "has the bug and wants to play online." If there's anyway I can talk you into partaking in the Genesis side, I'd be happy to . Super nice guy, well deserved win on your second title. Congrats. @Bob Kudelski @Fed @annatar really enjoyed chatting and playing with the SNES buds. I have a lot to learn but I did enjoy the games I played. I will work on my game in hopes of being more than cannon fodder for top level players on Super next time around. @Slapshotsean @Mort @DPS great to hang with you guys. Congrats on winning the Jam title. You guys are absolute gamers, balls to the wall. The 2on2 session till 5am was worth the trip alone for me. You guys have to be there next time. @CamKneely always a brides maid never a bride no more. Congrats on being the inaugural and reigning Duke of 94 champ! Even if it did feel kinda like I was watching you play quarterback for playground kids on both teams. Sorry I could't get some 2on2 games in with the two time 2on2 champs. We didn't get going until after midnight and you had to be at work the next day. Great to finally meet you and we gotta have you back at the next one. @segathon it's not too late to join us. There is still good in you. I can feel it. As far as the venue goes, I thought the stage and broadcast/stream booth really added to the gravitas of the games, and being able to sit back and watch the tournament unfold on the big screen was awesome. It really felt like a legit eSporting event. I'm not sure where the next one will be held but it will be tough to top that aspect after playing on a big stage. Big props to Waves, they were very accommodating and I hope they have big success with their facility into the future. I'd really like to help out more next time around. If it's more hardware, or whatever, you can count on me. I'm great with design and can design t-shirts, promo vids, logos or whatever need be. I just want to make sure this keeps rolling along. Will definitely contribute more to the raffle next time as well. Would have liked to get some 2on2 going for Genesis and SNES during KO94-4, though there really wasn't any time for it. Please delegate the task to me for managing a 2on2 tournament if it's too much to handle in addition to the classic tournament. It could be interspersed during classic games in bracket play if we want to add it. I'll bring all necessary hardware so that 8 players can play at a time. To all the great guys I've played and chatted with over the years that I didn't get to meet: @donnybrook @HABS @Freydey @Zalex @IceStorm70 @CoachMac @Evan @Brutus @Uncle Seth @kgman @chaos @McMikey @The Russian Rocket @hokkeefan @skip @slapshot67 @mack and others that I haven't mentioned because this post is entirely too long. You guys are sorely missed and I really hope you can make it out to the next one. Also, I will spare no blood or treasure to get @wboy to one of these. I'll wrap up by mentioning that some of the community members said they were eager to finally meet me and have me as a part of KO94-4. It was a bit humbling and overwhelming for sure. I hope I didn't disappoint anyone. All I can really say is, I'm just a big kid who hasn't outgrown his love for this game and I hope I never do. ggs

Hey, TubaHero here, just signed up for the spring league, can't wait to get some action. Just wondering though, what has to happen test game-wise? Do i have to sign up for an official game, or do i just have to have played someone online before? PS aim is MeatSkid1 and msn is mf_67@live.ca, contact either if you want to get an online game going, but for gens only
