  2. This tournament looked amazing with the set-ups in front of the astronaut display, and the golden cartridge for the winner. I posted those pics on my instagram because they're so cool. Now everyone thinks I won, and I probably won't correct them.

  4. probably not too helpful, but two minutes is 120 seconds, which is '78' in the number part of a hex editor, or 'N' in the text part. Try searching for '7800' in the hex section (not the text section). Change it to '3C00' (60 = 3C hex) and hopefully that changes one of the penalties.. must be a pain to test, though

  5. Ah, I thought you had been using the previously posted hacks, which would have meant you were using a headerless ROM. But it turns out you're using a ROM with a header (200(hex) bytes of useless data inserted at the start of the ROM). So yes, for the addresses I supplied with an "@", add 200 to those locations in the hex editor, so at these locations instead: @F857c @FFD30 Let me know if it works in the playoffs and what not.. I only tried one regular season game.

  6. Viva las forums NHL94! Our hackings is strongest! This will set the DefCon ON before the game starts, so you can actually turn it off in the menu if you want. These addresses are for a headerless ROM. If your ROM has a header (which it probably does), add 200 to the addresses, so you get f857c and ffd30. @F837c (a bit after where the game wipes a bunch of values to 0000 which is what forced defence control to be OFF) old: 22 B2 C6 9F JSL 9F:6CB2 # Long Jump to Subroutine new: 20 30 FB EA JSR :FB30 # Jump to SubRoutine of our custome code NOP # No OPeration (space filler operation) somewhat funny that in SNES assembly, "EA" means "Do nothing" @FFB30 old: FF FF FF ..
