  1. Ok...without further delay... I have posted the updated Playoffs versions for the UHC and Mammoth roms that now include Gabriel Landeskog on the Avs and Evander Kane on the Oilers. I also made some other updates/changes to make it worth while. For more details on the ROMs, please see the original post. Make sure, if you are interested in downloading the ROM(s), to download one noted as "Playoffs Version." As there are multiple playoff roms, that I posted, I noted which ones include Landeskog and Kane and which don't. Unless there is a notable mistake or issue that can be easily fixed, these will serve as the final posts. Thank you to anyone who downloaded them and/or stopped by to share some thoughts.
  2. How to: Add Custom Menu Items to the Game Setup Screen v1.0 (2025 04 29) Info: I've put together a GitHub repo showing how to add custom menu items to the game setup screen in NHL '94. Using this method, I’ve created five example patches, all included in the repo. Fake Shot (New functionality) Weight Bug (Chaos 120 decimal patch) 5 Minutes, 99 Min OT to Period Lengths Fighting - (Coming Soon) Multi Menu, with everything combined You’ll also find a master "multi menu" example that demonstrates how to combine multiple patches into a single ROM. This approach works with custom ROMs too—you'll just need to update the insertion RAM address to match your rom. This is more of an advanced level patch geared towards ROM modders. It allows you to edit the source code of these patches to change the behavior as well. Any questions please drop in the forum and we will keep this updated and make improvements over time. We can probably wrap a User Interface tool around these patches in the future, but I wanted to get it out now so people could start using it, and provide feedback. Patch: I recommend visiting the GitHub repository and checking out the README. It provides details on all the patches I've created using this method. Here is the direct link to download the zip package containing all the examples. Each folder in the zip package has a README.md file with instructions. Version Notes v1.0 Initial Release. Known Issues In Demo Mode, Goalie Control + User Record options are editable, but should not be.
  3. v3.6 released on the main page! Some tiny roster fixes, and lines updates for the key players who returned from injury.
  4. Thank you! I kinda forgot about the GoT rom. I haven't played it in a very long time. It was such a goofy concept but some folks liked it (much to my surprise). Glad to hear you are enjoying the most recent season rom as well as the 2021 version. I'm sorry for the delay in getting a final 2025 version out. That whole thing about "mice and men." I don't want to broadcast any promises that I can't keep so I'll leave it as ... "as soon as possible." Hoping to work on it today. Thank you to @BurntBiscuit94 for their patience!
  5. Hi @BurntBiscuit94 @Flame4Life @Puck Defender! Sorry for the delay in responding to your recent kind, and/or humorous, posts. Been doing some traveling and didn't have a chance 'til now. As for creating/posting a ROM next season, it's "TBD" right now as it is too early to know if I even can (availability wise). I have some more traveling, both with my family and professionally, and work will be amping up due to certain seasonality. That said, the future is uncertain at the moment and I don't want publicly commit and not come through. So, for now, hopefully folks enjoy what I have already posted as well as the current (real life) NHL playoffs. I appreciate those who stopped by with a kind word or two. It wasn't my plan to even post this year but one thing led to another and I got talked into it and yada...yada...yada. Tomorrow never knows.
