  1. Where is brockness? Since I'm 4 picks away in B2, here's my pick list: 1) MTL 2) BOS 3) WPG 4) STL Btw - it's great to see a bunch of vets playing this season!
  2. Hey guys, I was chatting with a coworker who does a monthly game night at a bar, and asked about the possibility of doing an NHL'94 tourny night. The bar they have a spot at is located at 100 3rd Ave between 12th and 13th streets in NYC, and they typically do the second Thursday of each month. I'm going to talk with the guy who runs these nights to see what can be done. They setup consoles and play video games while chatting about the gaming industry. If we can get a night locked up to do this, who would be interested in attending (and which system Genesis/SNES)? Thanks guys, -Evan
  3. What name did you sign up under, and for which league? Chaos can probably double check if it went through.
  4. Should we have an old timer division? Angryjay, Habs, Wallywojo, shoot I'd consider playing Spring Classic (queue Halifax's jaw dropping).
  5. Yea, even if it's 1 Snes and 1 Gens league with a 20 game schedule we should try to keep the seasons going for sure. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
  6. Thanks for the feedback guys - I've updated the homepage feed to display latest 20 topics instead of last 10 posts. That should give us more useful info, and be a quick way to see what's new in the past couple days.
  7. Yes sorry about that. It's been resolved thanks to invisions support team. The new feature, called IP.Content is installed and we'll be looking to use it for future enhancements to the forum and websites.
  8. Hey Mikey, I'd love to have something on the website about this project. I'm guessing you've been keeping a journal of some sort about all your travels, experiences, and interviews in filming this. It would be great to either share a link with all of this info or post/send it to me so I can have this on the NHL'94.com website forever. This is big part of the game's history now! Keep rocking! -Evan
  9. Hey gang, I just updated the nhl94.com website to now use updated code and be more mobile friendly. This was just a conversion of the existing site from out-dated code. The next phase of the site will be to get feedback and start enhancing what is currently on the website. Feel free to throw down suggestions and if anyone wants to take on one or more aspects of the website, I'd be happy to work it out. I'm looking to do further enhancements with graphics/css/jQuery/javascript, which I'm pretty knowledgeable with, but looking for your ideas on what would make the site more useful, functional, and all around awesome. Thanks guys! -Evan
  10. 43-0 is my personal best, just for fun. Best part is the 200 body checks though. I don't have a recording of it, but it was on a genesis console at my Dad's with 10-min periods and my son dangling over me. What most say is true - there will be parts of the game where it is difficult to score on the CPU.
  11. Hey tru - just converting the existing site's code to be up to date, easy to manage and mobile friendly. We can use a separate topic to discuss new features.
  12. Excellent stuff Clock - a great compilation of how awesome 2on2 is. The net flipper goal is something else.
  13. Mikey, This is an awesome project you are putting together. Let me know what you may need. Glad you've been using nhl94.com as a resource (sorry the site is so out-dated - I'm FINALLY getting around to updating it now). I haven't been as active around here the past few years, so I'm a bit out of touch on the latest and greatest happenings but, like you, I still play using the genesis at least once a week. The people here are amazing and we'll all help to make your project a success! -Evan
  14. John, thanks again for helping out with that. Was there anything you were looking to do that you weren't able to?
  15. Hey gang, I just wanted to say Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone on the forum. Thanks for making this place what it is today and enjoy the site and leagues! -Evan
  16. Halifax, more like I log into facebook about as much as I login here, sorry man. I saw the facebook messages the day after. kgman, so nice to read your kind words again. -Evan
  17. Congrats Tick, welcome to Fatherhood! -Evan
  18. Haha, more like I realized that my hosting company must of reset my database password because we were way over our storage limit. This is not because of uploads (that's separate and we have plenty of space) but just the data stored in the database. I'm going to contact them about increasing that, but I apologize for that downtime. I wasn't aware the forums were down until IceStorm contacted me. I've also added some challenge questions to the signup process in an effort to minimize the spam bots. Seems that will always be a battle, but hopefully this keeps it to a minimum. Long live nhl94.com and fans who come here! Thanks, -Evan
  19. HABS, nice find! kingraph, after you've sealed up your blitz championship definitely scan this in. I can add it to the multimedia section of nhl94.com as well. -Evan
  20. Thanks guys, yep getting old! -Evan
  21. I'm rarely on AIM, and don't get much time to check in here either I haven't played a game of nhl94 online in way too long. At this rate my son will be joining a league sooner than I do. Glad to know the chat bar works for the most part. -Evan
  22. Does anyone see the cometchat bar at the bottom of the forum? -Evan
