    NHL 2001 had the best intro, best soundtrack and best gameplay of all modern 3D hockey games. Loved the morale bar and the power bar on slap shots. Body checks were also delightful. If you love arcade-style hockey, NHL 2001 was the best. It is the NHL game I played the most alongside NHL 94. My friends and I played it every week.
