    Nikpetro has been kind enough to repalce evitage, just need to replace hokkee now and im still waiting on a response from the other person i Pm'd earlier.

    Farewell everyone, thanks for having me, prolly won't be doing the NHL94 thing anymore but it's been a lotta fun... Especially GDL even if I had one of the worst records ever :P

    I'm dropping out as well, I don't have the connection to do this stuff anymore, it's gotten worse and worse... I'll try to finish GDL with p2p hopefully but it's more frustrating than fun lately sorry Metz

    Also I hate offsides, the AI in this game is too stupid to use offsides effectively

    Yeah, sorry to put the 'blame' just on you :P You were just a tiny bit ahead of the 'expected' schedule, but then Soderstrom was taken really early, then Ranford even earlier.. then it was just chaos!

    It'll be interesting to see what happens in GDL7.

    I was confused as to why Houlanov grabbed Potvin in round 2 then Soderstrom in round 3...

    I had to grab a Bob E that early because if not my next pick was late 4th round and everyone knows how awful my manual GC is, I would have gone defeated with any goalie named Hrudey or worse than him hahah

    Very cool stuff though Smoz, interesting to see how people didn't know the weight bug existed until GDL 3

  16. GDL VOTE: Weight Bug

    9 people making their vote isnt enough to just dismiss this as if it were over.

    Also, its very hard to conduct a draft without a database, i will do my best to locate D so we can get the database set up for the GDL 6 Draft.

    And im voting for the weight bug, what we fail to see here in my opinion is that the Blitz league, may or may not be running next season, its not guaranteed.

    Secondly, the FDL is an Excel Spreadsheet league, which means stats are essentially limited to Wins-Losses-Ties. So if Blitz doesnt go to season 2, and FDL is the only weight bug league, then we have absolutely no stat tracking what so ever when it comes to Weight Bug Fix.

    Thirdly, the talent pool is far deeper with the fix in place, I won the A league with my top player being Chris Kontos, a ho-hum middle weight who's only redeeming quality is an accurate shot. Something like that could never be accomplished with the current rom.

    Fourthly, i agree with skool, we know who is good, weight buggers and a select handfull of heavyweights. The beauty of this is we can do a season of weight bug fix, compare stats, vote again in GDL 7 and go back to the old rom, compare again. This league has the ability to be flexible and have stat tracking.

    If there is an offical announcement that Blitz will be coming back for a 2nd season, i will change my vote, until then, i vote for the weight bug fix.

    Metz, when you make the rom can you make my first scoring line how I have it listed

    My second scoring line

    LW-Bondra C-Sakic RW- Lindros

    and my CHK line will be

    LW-Sakic -C-Lindros RW- Bondra

    This way when Lindros goes for penalties or Bondra go for penalties, Sakic will be on the Ice...

    Then my PP unit can be

    Lomakin, Cullen, Corson

    So, FDL will start tomorrow...

    The plan is to get everything done later tonight, but I might be a little delayed.

    The meat of this league is going to be in January, so be prepared for that.

    I am getting busier and busier as time goes on, and would like to start a new project not related to NHL94 - it's called getting a job and getting out of this shithole.

    Sounds good dude, do what you have to, we all should and I hope have better things to do with our time than NHL94
