Adam, I want to first thank you for your amazing work on this rom, I find it extremely enjoyable to play! I am a Colorado Avalanche fan, and I was looking at the ratings of the players. Could you please let me know how you decided to rate players (especially the overall rating)? I am sure every fan of each team in the game will want different ratings, but I am specifically targeting Nathan MacKinnon who was given a 85 overall ranking. He is widely considered a top 3 player overall in the NHL, and his rating is only 2 points better than Mikko Rantanen (83 overall, and a highly skilled player as well). Gabriel Landeskog comes in at 80 overall. I do think Rantanen should be closer to 88, and Landeskog closer to 84 overall. Nathan MacKinnon is the one I am most shocked by as he should definitely come in the 90's overall, and I honestly didn't get a chance to compare his ranking to Conor MacDavid and Auston Matthews who are considered the other two top three players in the NHL. Cale Makar at 88 seems great, as he is now considered the best defensemen in hockey, right next to Hedman(TB) and Fox (NY). This is also where you can tell me to go ahead and do the work and create my own ROM with my ratings : ) I am a HUGE fan of your rom, and was more curious to how all the players rank up against each other rather than requesting you to update my team to rankings I believe they should be. I just provided that for discussion, as Nathan MacKinnon is still pretty good in the game

All respect to your ROM Sauce! Just played it through and won the cup with the Colorado Avalanche! That was a fun experience. I will check out the other threads and get to know the forum, but I will always remember playing yours first. I can tell you one thing for sure, this game is much more challenging than the original, and I really appreciate that. Happy New Years Sauce, and Adam for your help.

Adam, you genius you. So I had tried that earlier and for some reason it didn't load. I dragged it in another way, and sure enough, there it is! What a fun time playing with the new updated NHL 94 ROM. Now, I have to ask, what is everyone's favorite version of this rom? Is there one that everyone considers the best, or the one that people use as the default when playing online? So excited that this community exists, and now wishing there was a poster that had all the updated teams with player rankings to really geek out.

Thank you Sauce. OpenEmu works great on the Mac, the issue I am having is expanding the .bin file to get access to the actual rom file to load. Any chance you could send the rom file to my email? I have tried a few different extracting programs but with no success

Hi all, just found this forum, and very excited that I did. I appreciate all the work everyone has put into updating this amazing game for us to enjoy with the latest rosters. I am having an issue extracting the rom however, the .bin file cannot be opened/extracted on my Mac. I use OpenEMU as my emulator and would really like to use this rom, but unfortunately no luck in accessing the file because the .bin file is unable to be accessed. Anyone here use a Mac that would be able to help? That would be amazing!
