Yeah, Mac's unzip files most of the time, but not the .bin files, but I was able to drag the zipped file right into OpenEmu and it worked, which shocked me.  Thanks for the replies!

Im trying to think up a creative way to play a full season.

I guess if you change the file extension from .bin to .md will work

They've done this with Pro Evolution Soccer... some guy created a companion app (incomplete at the moment) which runs on the side (he called it 'MatchUp')... it's a GUI interface (which sits in the background when playing the actual game) that creates a save file for PES and once the game is played inside PES it pulls the result in... Such an interface would need to offer a way of simulating results accurately and realistically however. But the possibilities of creating seasons/tournaments etc are endless. Like a full management sim but with the gameplay of the classic we all know and love

Wow big PES fan here, since the very first release in SNES to the PS2 glory days. Nowadays I stick to Winning Eleven 2002/PES 2 for PS1, tons of mods every year.

Well that's too bad. Admittedly I only played a few games with this mod applied and wasn't really paying attention to that.

Although I guess I'm not surprised. I find that modding these games is a lot like playing with LEGO.
You can create anything that your imagination can desire,
...just as long as it works within the limitations of the medium and you realize that you're probably going to end up breaking something else apart to build it.

Well maybe future updates fix it, I really liked the new view less "zoomed" in 96-98, but I also noticed that players won't show in the penalty boxes if a team is shorthanded

There are 30 and 32-Team versions of NHLPA'93 posted here. I've only used them for IIHF ROMs but they do have team logos put in there. I think the original mod was based on the NHL 2018-19 season. Don't recall seeing a more recent one though.

Just checked. The 30-Team ROM has team logos in the banners and center ice locations. Unfortunately the 32-Team version actually only has one common center ice logo for all teams.

    Thanks my friend!
