  1. Why I stopped playing: 1) Don't have time to sit around waiting for people to show up. 2) Don't want to play a game with people around the world that is laggy. 3) Don't want to play a game in which I have to modify my schedule to meet someone else schedule 4) The Braggarts and Tryhards 5) Using AOL Aim....
  2. Per Nintendo Site: http://www.nintendo.com/switch/online-service/ You can play NES and Super Nintendo Games Online with others on the go. You wont be able to do custom mods, but thought this was cool.
  3. I'm sorry Im going to have to be out. If someone needs a week for vacation or something and needs a players I'll play but I dont want to bring the league down. I'm just of of time lately. Lot's of things happening with family and the house. I hope I can come back and play again as these leagues are really cool but need dedicated time.
  4. So how many games a week are we expected to play. Don't want to f'up the league if Im not around much.

  11. I have done programming in the past, IE COBOL Assembler etc... Never tried to code stuff for video games. Are the tools used today simplistic to make games? Was thinking of making a simple nhl94 like game. Any developers here?

  14. Congrats NN, however it will be shortlived because Dynasty Playoffs are Coming..... Muuuuwahahahahaha
  15. Tried some games on the net. Its just way to laggy to play.... but it did work... (in theory at least) Update: Kashim found a way to get game evened out. Basically you download the latest snes9k. This allows you to use the kalleria servers. From there you pick one that is in between the players... Still laggy if you play interconitinet games, but if your in teh same region it works great!
  16. Halifax wanted me to check out if it is possible to play 5 players or 2v2 from 4 different computers. The answer is YES and NO. Yes you can do it, but no you cant with the emulator you are using. In order to play snes online with multiple people, you need to get 1) Kalliera Server - Needs to be installed on one machine to act as the server to connect to. http://www.kaillera.com/download.php Edit the .conf file so Public=0 and AllowWebAcces=0. That isn't necessary, it's just better to run it that way. You can also change the server name and message stuff however you like. 2) Snes9k - Snesx Port with Kalliera Support (built in client) http://goebish.free.fr/snes9k/ Step 1) Download and extract Kalliera Server on a computer. Run the executable. Make sure the port is opened for others to join. Step 2) Download and extract Snes9k. Run Snes9k. Make sure your connection type is LAN - 60 keyframes. Now find out what your ip address is. Add ':27888' to that address. Now you've something that looks like 275.68.210.219:27888. That is the IP address you want people to connect to so they can watch you play. You get no lag at all because you connect to the server with 0 ping and update the controls 60 times per second without fail. People can see what you're doing and it works fine for some reason. This is all found in the Kalleria settings. Step 3) Select Play a Kalliera Game. Click Enter IP. Enter the IP of the Kalliera IP. Step 4) On the player who is creating the game, make sure MULTITAP is enabled. Then Create your game and wait for others to join. Step 5) Start game and enjoy. I will answer any and all questions here.... FAQ: Do I need Hamchi? Yes/No, you can use it if your lazy about opening ports...
