  1. Last two regular season games are two including BOS (minpind) and STL (brutuskhan), post your availability guys and get em done this weekend and we can get going into the post-season. A lot of post-season factors depend upon these two games. Current Picture: Based on regular season head-to-head records, Toronto has clinched the first seed going 4-2 against Vancouver and Boston. If Boston is to win the next two games against St. Louis, Minpind will finish 2nd with a 4-2 record against Vancouver this season and St. Louis will be the 8th playoff seed. In the case of a split: BOS will be third seed having a season record of 4-2 against Chicago and St. Louis will be the sixth seed, NYR the seventh, and BUF the eighth. The three way tie-break for 6-8 is figured: NYR went 5-1 against BUF, STL went 5-1 against NYR, and STL BUF Split - STL with higher GF-GA differential than BUF.The Calgary Flames have clinched the 5th seed not impacted by the last two games being played. Matchup predictions: 1. MAPLE LEAFS VS 8. SABRES 2. CANUCKS VS 7. RANGERS 3. BRUINS VS 6. BLUES 4. BLACKHAWKS VS 5. FLAMES

  3. I understand Kega has its deficiencies as most other emulators do, but if "faster" emulation is more important than "accurate" emulation I would agree with TK, freydey, & raph. Im still not convinced of a button delay "bug" in fusion, as I am that gens provides faster emulation inconsistent with the genesis console. From my experience Fusion provides the smoother online play, which I personally value more than stat data-basing ( which is by no means a knock on the great work members have done to extract stats from Gens savestates to websites). If there is an open thread on Kega vs Gens, I will always support Kega like I have consistently done the past couple years. I am fully aware 95% of genesis players find any talk of ditching gens as taboo.
  4. As the site indicates, today 5/4/14 is the final deadline. With 5/8 coaches still not at the 42 GP mark we will extend league play one week to 5/11/14. After that DNP pts will be assigned (please don't make us do this) and play-offs will ensue. Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks (jackandjose) and Calgary Flames (LABS_66) for completing their schedules. The Toronto Maple Leafs (kupuck19) have finished their regular season as well. Please reply with your availability if you still have games to finish. Based on the standings considering full game completion here is a prospective round 1 playoff picture: 1. Vancouver Canucks (probob38) vs 8. New York Rangers (Wittgenstein) 2. Toronto Maple Leafs (kupuck19) vs 7. St. Louis Blues (Brutus.Khan) 3. Chicago Blackhawks (jackandjose) vs 6. Buffalo Sabres (jer_33) 4. Boston Bruins (minpind) vs 5. Calgary Flames (LABS_66) Going into the final weeks of the season all teams have proven themselves to have what it will take to contend in the post season. As the New York Rangers quickly improve their record with Free Agent Steve Yzerman taking goalies across the league by storm after a tough start; under coach Wittgenstein have the potential to finish as high as the 6 seed and capable to upset any team with addition offensive powers in Petr Klima and Mike Gartner. The Boston Bruins have solved goaltending deficiencies as Bill Ranford is leading the way in GAA and Save %, in a scenario Vancouver loses all their remaining games and the Bruins find a way to win each one the B's have the chance to take the top playoff spot. The addition of Selanne and Bondra to the top line in Chicago with Jeremy Roenick has provided an incredibly potent offense that can fluster any goaltender, Bondra leads the league in shot % since being picked up at free agency. Coach probob of the Vancouver Canucks has found a way to keep atop the standings since the trade deadline, although the Canucks acknowledge the latter half of the season as had its difficulties due to the increased depth, speed and skill each team has picked up. Good luck and have fun in playoffs! League Leaders: Pts/G 1. Doug Gilmour - TOR - 2.024 2. Pavel Bure - VAN - 2.000 3. Steve Yzerman - NYR - 1.875 Goals 1. Brett Hull - STL - 58 2. 5. I don't buy faster input of controls necessarily... With gens I feel I am getting a very buggy genesis emulation experience opposed to Kega. Kega looks and plays NHL 94 much closer to what it was like back in the days on the console than in Gens. Im not concerned that Kega doesn't allow for the custom screen resizing because Zsnes is the same way, I feel this is what helps both emulators provide a smoother, less choppy, online gaming experience. Old dogs can always learn new tricks.
  6. #kegarevolution Sound effects: Kega > Gens Lag: Kega > Gens Goalie Control: Kega > Gens Emulated Gameplay: Kega > Gens Overall conclusion, Kega>Gens.
  7. LOL Knew a day would come GA would make its way to the Bell Centre
  8. Had the same thing happen with an upload with game #33 at Calgary. Upload screen said the teams in the save state do not match, but it for surely is the correct file. I have the save and can send it to you chaos.

  11. I have 4 games left (2 with hokkee 2 with frey), im gonna be out of town from tonight until sunday night. if you guys aren't on today you able to be online sunday/monday night?
  12. Major kudos chaos for helping out with site and errors in the rom, been very busy the last 48 hours and very grateful you took the time to work on things for us. Future seasons we will be more formal in "dropping" players before the FA draft occurs to keep these errors from happening.
  13. How did this thread go from online gaming etiquette to name calling and than arguing the meaning of those names?
  14. note that there is a new rom for season 1 part 2, there was an error with two Jim Weimer's on Boston's roster (thanks Chaos for catching this). I do not think this should effect any savestates to date unless you have played Boston (which I think no one has). Chaos has been working on the website over the weekend and it should be ready very soon, a major thanks again to Chaos for helping out at nhl94online.com ; without him GMC would not have been possible.
  15. Teemu will be sincerely missed. Not only one of the most skilled players to put skates on, but a strong leader and true class act.
  16. Mofape Entertainment presents: POWERGLOVE
  17. Need to play Nahka, Hokkee, Boknos, Frey, SOH, eggink, swos, icestorm, pearate on most the day today and tomorrow
  18. Will be on most the weekend to get caught up. Few people have messaged me for games, have been very busy past couple days since hammering out 8 in one day. Usually best to catch me on weekends & after 7pm PST.
  19. glad to take over for the fat boys in the MadHouse. find me on AIM: kupucknhl94
  20. The Trade Deadline & Free Agency period is now officially over. Rosters for the end of the season have been finalized and every team is looking to make a strong impression before play-offs. The Rangers have brought on offensive talent such as S. Yzerman, P. Klima, and T. Sandstrom to help turn around a rough season. Chicago has built talent around video-game athlete legend Jeremy Roenick with superstars Teemu Selanne and Peter Bondra in Chicago, while the Sabres have acquired Wayne Gretzky to create an all-star line with P. Lafontaine and A. Mogilny. St. Louis has brought in Super Mario Lemeuix and Sergei Federov to help Brett Hull and Nelson Emerson continue offensive success. The Flames have added American powerhouse Mike Modano and stone-wall Patrick Roy to help keep atop the league as they claw towards Vancouver at the top of the standings. The Canucks have brought on N. Lidstrom, P. Brisbois and B. Bradley as free agents to help keep that top seed into play-offs. The Maple Leafs have added free agents Dino Ciccarelli, Phil Housley, and Dennis Savard to add depth to a team that ran a shorter bench in the first half improving on speed and offensive depth. The Bruins have solved goaltending issues in acquisition of Bill Ranford, and should be looking to generate much more offensive firepower with additions of M. Recchi, D. Khristich and C. Janney. Great job so far to everyone participating, it has been a lot of fun to do this league. Good luck to all with the rest of their schedules. You can start playing now, but keep your states for when chaos has the next part of the schedule up on the site. 94gentlemansclubVseason1pt2v2.bin

  23. FA draft is all complete, great job on a swift draft. Only team who has not made a trade yet is NYR. Remember to make all your final trades and to post your line-ups by 4.6.14.
