During the Trade Deadline, each coach must conduct at least one trade deal. Coaches are allowed to trade up to a maximum of 6 players. Each coach will be able to update and post on the trading block throughout the season and negotiate deals as time leads up to the Trade Deadline. Coaches can start trading with other teams at Week 6 before the intermission, but note that roster changes will not apply until after the Trade Deadline.

Free Agent Draft Rules & Procedures: When all coaches meet the 28 GP mark, the league trade deadline starts. The Trade Deadline is a 10 day intermission week in which each team will draft 3 free agents and be allowed a short window for late season trades. Free agents are all players from unselected teams. The Free Agent Draft will be determined by current standings at the intermission and be conducted in the following order (snaking around for rounds 2 and 3): 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st. NHL 94 Gentlemen's Club Format: 8 teams, Classic Rom (home/away, hot/cold neutralized), 42 Games(3hm/3aw vs each), Intermission Trade Deadline, Best of 7 Play-offs Rules: 5 minute periods, penalties: on, offsides off, line changes: auto on (manual) How it works? Before the Trade Deadline you have 4 games vs each coach (2hm/2aw). When the trade deadline arrives after all coaches complete their first 28 games of reg season, there will be a 10 day intermission. Maybe I wasn't clear that I have little interest in being on the waitlist. I confirmed to be back with Colorado with knowledge i'd have a chance to build a good team. Ill just wait for fall classic to play in a league again. I appreciate the effort to offer a fair compromise, but it just not the same.

There is no 'Pavel Bure' in 'team', if I have any chance at having COL back and getting to draft it should be now or never before the draft goes any further. There is still an issue having stuck out a bad season and feeling you should have enjoyed a top 3 player for the next season. If I am first on the waitlist, usually the first team to drop has a bust team (like when I inherited jrod's mess with the Capitals in GDL 7). Personally - I see a big difference between the two.

Understood, but it is crappy that there was advocating from a drunk, a pre-teen, and a transvestite to get me swiftly replaced when none of them bothered to try notifying me of the draft start. Furthermore, the draft wasn't even supposed to have started until around today-Friday (hence, I logged in last night). Had I known a draft was going on so soon I could have definitely left a list. Sucks to play all the games in a season with a rough record, receive 3rd pick, and than having the draft start a week sooner than told. Again, I'm not asking for my team back; but Ill make my point clear this time: "it would be fair from those involved with GDL to offer it as a possibility before he drafts rds 2 & 3."

That was pretty fast. The only person who it was even my turn to Draft was donch yesterday on AIM and ice two days ago. In the past ive gone as far as text message to tell someone it was their draft pick. Not to mention I was told the draft would start to middle-end of this week. Im not asking for my team back, but please dont tell someone a draft will start around Xdays than let people rush the draft date and replacing people because they didnt know.
