Well , any league thats open. Im about two lifetimes behind you all in 'technical jargon'. So by the time I would finally get all of this stuff set up... Id love to play.
Side note- Ive seen NHL 94 played with rosters from the current NHL teams. Do you guys do that in these leagues? Or is this just purely a retro league from 1994?
Yeah, there are a lot of league's that use current rosters, like metz's Capitalism League. Also, I'm doing a NCAA Frozen Four Tournament if you're interested, it's only 6-15 games long, details are on this thread: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?showtopic=7680

In Calgary, AB:
Ana 6 Cgy 5
Game 4 to be played later.

Got ya Jim. Jim also gave me a great idea, if this tournament goes well and a lot of people like it, I will try and do a short league with this rom.
-
My first time ever organizing a tournament, so here it goes.
The Rom:
The rom is Inkling's Frozen Four rom he made which can be found from the link below. The rom is a 94 hack with all the teams that made the Frozen Four Tournament in 2007, I wish we had the 2008 squads but oh well.
Rules:
Periods: 5 minutes
Penalties: On. except off-sides
Line Changes: Off (tested a game with line changes, but with the depth of the college game the pace of play slows down)
Goalies: manual
Format
It will be an NCAA tournament format, with four regionals rounds with winners advancing to the Frozen four. Regional rounds will each consist of four teams, the only place were this will vary from the NCAA tournament style is that each regional will be a round robin. Each team will play each other twice within your assigned pool, so you play six games in the regional. In the regionals, each game as 3 points up for grab.
A Win in regulation- 3 pts.
A loss in regulation- 0 pts.
A win in OT - 2 pts
A loss in OT - 1 pt.
In case of a tie in the standings, an extra game will decide the regional crown. Also in the regional, you will play each team twice, so in the mini series each team will be home once.
After that, the last four standing teams will face off. The semi-finals will be a best of 5 series, and the championship will be a best of 7.
Posting and Confirming Scores:

This trade would never happen. Although I feel Koivu is a better leader than Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh wouldn't give up a strong player in the group of players that saved the franchise.
If I could choose, I'd take both

I know this is aside from hockey, but being a lacrosse fan as well I dream the day that EA Sports makes an NCAA Lacrosse game, or even an NCAA hockey game. I mean EA made a damn Cricket game. Why not Lacrosse? But I think a lacrosse video game would be awesome, and yes I have Blast Lacrosse for PS1 and it sucks.
This goes along to agree with Shaftman's comment that EA is pure evil.

I'd love to see this rom too. Played in the playoffs for Tacoma one year and Bakersfield Cali the next season.
Mack, you wouldn't have happened to play with a guy named Eric Long at Bakersfield did you? He was a coach at my school. I'm from Fresno and go to Falcon games, I've probably seen you play.
