  1. I would have to take Ovechkin. Ovechkin can fit many roles, he can be the big hitter, grind it out in the corners, he can finish, he can set it up, he can provide power, the total package not to mention the energy and excitement he brings with him every game. This guy celebrates every goal as if it were his first. Malkin and Crosby, still very talented, but Ovechkin brings so much more to the table.

  2. Well Price played awesome, if you subtract the last 5, 7 or so minutes of the second period. Biron was a little off as well, but still pulling a rabbit out of his ass here and there and had some angels is his crease with him. Most exciting third period I have seen all post season long though, great deflection for the game winner. Poop on Briere for fumbling a puck on an empty net on a power play and for missing a golden break away opportunity towards the end, but credit to Price, great save.

  3. I take the Ducks AT LEAST over the Sharks. Maybe I'm being a little bias being a Ducks fan. The Ducks are 9-1-0 in the last 10, which is current the NHL best last 10 game record. They are going on a late season run, maybe a little far behind to catch the Stars. What concerns my prediction though is that the Sharks trail Anaheim by only one point and have two games in hand over the Ducks. I do believe though the Ducks will beat the Sharks down the remaining stretch, the Ducks have battled out to win a majority of the games against San Jose so far this season, and the Ducks will be fired up more than ever to knock off the arch-rival Sharks late in the season. The Ducks have struggled with Dallas in their last two or three meetings though. But one thing we can all agree on is, the Pacific Division is no doubt the toughest division in the NHL this year with three teams that currently have over 80 points.

  4. Jamonica, you should be happy with his performance so far.

I've been waiting to see how things played out, and Selanne is picking back up right where he left off. He had a 5 point night against Chicago, scoring a hat-trick and picking up two assists. Also, he has scored important goals against St. Louis and in the last two meeting with the Avalanche which were all one goal games. Teemu is definitely contributing to the Ducks in a positive way right now and the season is approaching the end and every two points on the line every night is becoming very important. Yeah, it's too bad he sat around most of the season trying to figure things out, but better late than never.

  5. To get better I really don't consider to try and blow out the CPU. I set certain goals for myself, such as scoring at least 4 one timers with three quick passes and at least 4 one-timers with one pass, or score at least x amount with slap shots from the point. Or also on the defensive side allowing no more than X amount of shots. I think setting small specific goals and focusing on one finer point of your game at a time is a really good way to improve.

When playing against the CPU, I usually set out tasks for myself to accomplish. This game it was not to let the goalie stop one single puck that came his way, granted I was playing against Minnesota but I felt very proud of this and wanted to challenge to see who else could achieve this on NHLPA 93.

  7. Being a Ducks fan I would love to see a repeat. Maybe with Selanne back in the line up, he'll get back into his swing and maybe make a difference in that. I would love to see another Ducks vs Sens series and have the ducks repeat, but in reality I think it's the Wings year.

  8. NES

    SNES

    Genesis

    N64

    Game Cube

    PS

    PS2

    Xbox

    Xbox 360

    Wii

And for Christmas this year I got a pretty neat system, forgot who makes it, but it plays both NES and SNES games so I don't have to mess around with cords to swap the two systems.

Fleury's - just remember to attach the wrist thing when drinking and playing that Wii, don't wanna let it slip and go through the TV now. (Witnessed this the first day my buddy got his Wii)

  9. Agreed. Being a ducks fan, Selanne was always my favorite player and the day he came back to Anaheim was one of the happiest days of my life(second to smoking the Sens in Game 5) as a ducks fan. Another veteran in the line up I think will be healthy when it comes down to crunch time before the playoffs and if *knock on wood* the ducks return to the post season.

BUT! Can't say anything now because he has not suited up in awhile, it'll be interesting to see how he does do on this first 8 game road trip.

  10. Yeah at first look it looked pretty easy, but than when you see these guys going over the jumps and down hills, it looks pretty tough. It's kinda funny watching this spending your whole life playing on a flat rink than trying to think if you could even go down hill on skates.

  11. If it doesn't crush gameplay, please record at least some of your games. GENS A finals featuring two of the very best, this should be on file.

yes please record them! i would love to see the footage of the best two coaches playing for it all, but than again that was addison's 666 post. maybe don't record it, the suggestion could be cursed? :)
