Hey All, Just joined the forum today, and can say without reservation that NHLPA 94 is the best game ever made. I play with Aqualizard a few times a week on rthe Genesis system. I'm not really sure where I'd be without this game...probably in a gutter. My discussion topic is: Do people think it's better to play heavy on defence when playing a high scoring team? My personal strategy is to get some good checkers out there, good defencemen and try and contain the faster players (like mogilny) by clogging up the area between the two face off circles. Eventually I find (it's hard to be disciplined about this) that if you poke-check and check enough the other team starts playing really bad and is knocked down easily. That's when you get your chance and Blammo! I'm interested to hear what people think of the strategy aspect of this game how it affects the ebb and flow. Oh yeah, Aqualizard has got alot of heart when playing, he tries you know?
