  1. Dude, you’re awesome. Thank you so so much! Do you use RetroArch by chance? I have so much trouble with it on my iPad. Only concerning nhl 95 pc though. Like I told you I got it working the other day, started a season and played a few games. Then when I went back to play it again yesterday and my league is gone and the rosters don’t have the attribute adjustments anymore. The guys are slow again. It’s a real head scratcher. After I got it working well I tagged the file (with the working ‘92 rosters) with a purple dot so I’d know which one to use. I open that same purple dot file and no league and no attributes adjusted. It’s driving me crazy. I’ve got to get a windows device to play this on. Apples files system is whack. It’s the goofiest thing, I’ll install a new Nhl95 and then search to see where it’s been installed (so I can add new rosters etc.) and it won’t come up in the search. So right now I can’t figure out a way to find the folders of my fresh installs. With yours I added it to a previous install. I just need to get a windows laptop to play this on. Something I understand. I work remotely away from home during the summer so I have to have something portable. Been using RetroArch on my iPad but it’s retarded. Thanks again.
  2. Just now finding this rom. Can’t believe this is the first time I’m seeing where someone’s actually shrunk the size of the puck from the dinner plate size down to a more realistic size. This makes this game so much more enjoyable in my opinion. This is one of the first things I wanted to do when I start editing tiles and such. Excellent job all around with this ROM. Love the player indicators and the jersey number font. Makes it so easy to read. This is one of the best SNES hacks I’ve ever played. Is it possible to share a file with the reduced puck size and simply inserted into another ROM? Or is it way more complicated than that?
  3. Seems to be working! Thanks for taking the time to help me out man. Finally I have a working ‘92 season! Wish I knew how you whipped that roster up so fast. One of these days I’m gonna dig into building rosters and find out what it’s all about. Would it be to much to ask for a 90-91 roster one of these days when you get some free time?
  4. Hi penguinFan1985, hoping you can help me out. I’m trying to use the 91-92 rosters you made but when I put the files in the 92 dbx folder I make the emulator locks up when I try to load the rosters. It seems it needs the files carteams db career db and season db. When I add copies of those form my files it works but only as far as loading the rosters. When I try to create a league it plays okay but I can’t merge and update the files without it crashing. Can you supply the proper carrer carteam and season db files or maybe let me know what you think is going on?
  5. How would you go about adding fight ratings to your pixel puck rom? All I know how to do is a few hex edits but I couldn’t imagine trying to update it that way. Would take forever. Does this program nose allow a simplified way to do this? I’m currently away from home for work for the entire summer and have no pc to experiment with nose. I’m curious how this would be accomplished. yours is about the only 91 rom I can find, besides maybe one other. 91 doesn’t get much love and it happens to be one of my favorite years. Was hoping I could add fighting to it, which I can’t do now without a pc, but I’d love to have a version with fight ratings for when I get back home. Michael
  6. Love this idea! I also remember what you describe von Ozbourne. I think it might’ve been a 2k. I wanna say around ‘05. Btw, where you guys think I should post a question about: I’m wondering if it’s possible to manipulate the hex regarding how close or far away the pick is to a player when capturing the puck. For instance, when passing the puck into the slot from behind the goal line the goalie will interfere with the pass before it reaches the intended pass recipient but the puck doesn’t actually come in contact with the goalie or his stick graphically. I’m wondering if we can change that “apparent” non contact distance to be actual contact. That make sense?
  7. Do you have time to update your 91 rom with fighting attributes?
  8. So you’re saying that you are editing the rosters in the save files and not the rosters in the hockey folder? Is this RetroArch your using as your emulator?
  9. It’s my favorite version too. Especailly with the speed hack you did. Love it! I do think there’s a little too much checking in yours though. I tried using a couple of different editing tools to apply some attribute changes; I can apply the changes but they don’t show up in the game for some reason.
  10. All the numbers are the same as before as far as I can tell. Sure you posted the correct roster?
  11. Sparky9, are you the author of the wha rosters? I’ve also tried to get that to work and I’m obviously missing something. Is it required to copy some files into the hockey directory or something?
  12. and thank you sparky9 🙏🏻
  13. That fixed it. FYI, there’s several players on the avalanche that have incorrect numbers. Played against the kings and the majority of those guys seem to have the correct numbers but I’m not as familiar with them as I am the avs. I can fix the numbers but I thought you might want to know. Thanks for the work you put in.
  14. 🙏🏻 When I try to load up the rosters it says the forward and penalty kill lines for Pittsburgh are not complete and won’t load the rosters. This is with an exhibition game. (Edit; what I mean by that last sentence is when I try to play an exhibition game after attempting to load the rosters, the rosters are back to original game rosters.)
