  3. I got: ICESTORM LABS SICARIOUS' BEAVERS ZEPPLIN I will be around Monday evening. If you can schedule some games with me here that would be great.
  4. I'll be back around this week.
  5. delete the gens.cfg file redownload a new instance of gens and replace the .cfg file. See if that changes anything? You can also try using gens plus, you should still be able to play with users using gens 2.11.
  6. Slack has easy to create group chats as well, I just made one for 2on2. It is much better than AIM in so many ways. I typically use aim.com and it does an OK job. If it wasn't for the expiring link thing, slack would be perfect.
  7. lmao that was an awesome read with epic music! Dmac desynched for life. hahahaha
  8. sweet nice job Mac. If your running a league, I'll sign up sure.
  9. Hey 305Raj, Yes the Blitz league had a the weight bug fix in effect but it was a draft league where you draft players from the original rom rosters. Unfortunately that league has run its course for now and is inactive as of now. For practice, definitely go with manual gc, penalties with no offsides. I would recommend signing up for the Spring Classic league.
  10. Lol gimme a break. Why are you speaking for a bunch of forum members? Speak for yourself kid. Everything else is coming out of your ass.
  11. I have had you set on ignore in the forum long ago. Sometimes I click to view it. Your unnecessary gens bashing posts have gotten much more tame but I still SMH at what the point of your posts are, and wonder how you think this adds any value. You call it generating a rivalry? Or something along those lines. There is NO rivalry, and no need for a rivalry. This is a community for a game that is over 20 years old. We are blessed that this is actually around. I have ZERO need to put down the SNES side of the game, I have no personal allegiance to either system ( I owned a SNES growing up, never had GENS). I greatly respect the people who play and runs SNES leagues and think its great we have two sides to the same game. I would never go into a SNES thread for absolutely no reason than to put it down just because I don't feel it is the "best" version or is inferior in some way. PS I didn't read OP/Book.
  12. canadiensfan66 takes New York Rangers
  13. Hey guys, Not sure if this has been posted before but I found this online in-browser version of NHL 94. It actually plays out really smoothly. http://www.ssega.com/play/nhl-hockey-94/1181 Now I'm wondering if we would be able to find a way to add multiplayer support to this. Looks like it is built on JavaScript.
  14. Definitely would say the following are the biggest factors that separate As and Bs 1. Anticipation. In all stages of the game, on defence reading passes, reading dekes. On offence, knowing if the defence is playing aggressive or traponing. Also goalie control as anticipation is the biggest part of GC. 2. The ability to finish. Being able to capitalize on scoring chances is huge. Finishing on breakaways, positioning properly for onetimers are all important. 3. Adaptability. As others have mentioned above, A players generally have more than one playing style and can adapt and counter other playing styles to keep one step ahead of the opponent. IMO these three things are the difference between any level of play in 94.
  15. Clogging the paint is nothing new. Good GC can easily defend the pass shot as well. It's just another way to score. I've seen lots of guys integrate it where it is an extra tool, Icestorm, Zalex, Plabs, as well as Frey, Raph. But nobody uses it as their only shot.
  16. Flyers @ Capitals - WSH in 6 Red Wings @ Lightning - DET in 7 Rangers @ Penguins - PIT in 7 Islanders @ Panthers - NYI in 7 Wild @ Stars - DAL in 7 Predators @ Ducks - NSH in 7 Sharks @ Kings -LA in 6 Blackhawks @ Blues - STL in 7
  17. Awesome write up. Agreed these are pretty much the top guys who go every season in the 1st round.
  18. Almost every week night after 8PM EST (6PM MT) until 1AM EST (11PM MT). Sometimes available weekdays during the day when working from home. 75% of the time when you see me online I am available, the other 25% I have left an AIM browser tab open on one of my computers.
