  1. We need to have a one-night McDonald's tournament. We choose a night and on that night everyone has to play from a McDonald's. The only problem would be that the lag would probably be bad. McDonald's doesn't have the greatest wireless. I'd be down for it though...
  2. Can you score on those flip passes in the GENS version? I don't think I've ever seen someone score like that.
  3. SOH and I played a series at McDonalds. We played from like 11pm-1am (I think.) We met an aspiring comedian named Tonochi. Tononchi is a double threat: Not only is he an aspiring comedian, he is also the janitor at the McDonalds. Between games we helped Tonochi find directions to the place in NY where he was going to audition for Last Comic Standing. Also, their was a kid who came in free-styled rap songs. That was enjoyable. SOH had the greatest game 7 comeback ever: he was down by 3 goals going into the third and came back and won in OT. Overall, playing at McDonalds is an experience in itself and everyone should do it at least once.

  5. The bidding is just about over, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem from here on out.
  6. GM 83 CAN 3(habs/Elio) @ USA 4(Wittgenstein/SOH)4 OT

  8. The main thing that we need to do is avoid mismatches. That's why I haven't been playing in any summit games lately: two rooks shouldn't play together in a game where Habs, Sebe, or Sonixx are playing-- which is just about every game. I'm guilty of it. There have been a few games where I teamed up with another rook and we got pounded. On the other hand though, the rooks have played pretty solid (for the most part) and should find consolation in the fact that we have played better opponents so close. There's still a chance that we can come back, but we need to let the elite players play for now and see if they can close the enormous gap of wins.
  9. Damn you. 86-0. I will have to give it another try. I only tried it once, but I am convinced that is possible to lose 100-0 in a 5 min game. (The reason that their goalie didn't get the first star was probably because he didn't face any shots.) There was no photoshopping involved. Pull your goalie and pass it into your own net. Yes, apparently I do have a bit too much time on my hands But I have been surpassed and will have to reclaim my record as worst loser.
  10. Despite the record, we Americans should be proud the way we are playing. Canada has had Sebe and Habs in almost every game, and the rooks have been carrying this team. We've lost 7 of the last 10 by one goal. We've had no EA and little SOH. We've played hard and this rom is rigged. We all know that HABS is a degenerate cheater
  11. For some reason I thought that EA said 'Let's go Canada!' We'll be good if we have the Bobby Fischer of NHL94 on our team We need some games with Jesus-SOH, Jesus-EA, Jay-EA, SOH-EA to help us build up some momentum. We can make up the ground, but can't get into too big of a hole.
  12. Americans, make sure that you aren't online later tonight. The last thing we need is Habs and EA on the same team
  13. I'm so sorry for our 1-4 run. We lost three of the games by 1 goal. We blew a lead with 10 seconds left in 3rd. I'm sorry. I'm disappointed. I'm ashamed.
  14. Well I know of Robert Morris, but not particularly too much about them. Their program is supposed to be getting really good though. They recently bought out a huge hockey complex where I used to play when I played ice hockey.
  15. A few words of advice: - Backcheck with a forward. That way you will have two AI defenseman and a forward on defense. It's also usually easier to catch an opposing player coming down ice with a forward. - Know your players. Know who to deke with, who to take slap shots with, who to cross crease with, etc. - Pick light players. - If all else fails, pick Chicago next time. - Practice
  16. I just dled the 2008 rom, and that is a great rom. It would be cool to have an NCAA tournament. It's cool to play with teams that you know nothing about
  17. Worst loss ever? 5 minute periods. Played against the computer. I exited the game without thinking, but Yzerman had 60 goals. Least amount of attack time ever? Most faceoffs won ever? The sad part is that this was my first try and I could do a lot worse.
  18. Does this work for online games? And if so, how do you get it to load online games?
  19. Can I change my team to Ottawa? I didn't realize how bad the Canucks are on that game. I agree that line changes should be turned off. My aim: philiveyismyhero
  20. I always beat the computer, but I have to admit that sometimes it is only by 1 or 2 goals. The computer is easy to crush during my first game against it, but I have a harder time after that. The computer is boring and its playing style is so BLAND. If I play more than one consecutive game against it, my mind loses all the sharpness it had and I usually only pull off something like a 3-1 win.
