I've hit the deadline and I replaced somebody, while also replacing that same person in GDL. Whine all you want but a game is like 10-15 mins. So if you tell me you can't play 1 hour per week of a hobby, then you don't really have a hobby.

There is spot for news guys every year. Not everything is perfect, but GDL divisions are weighted. It's not really fair to have somebody play his division games vs a prime time guy, get crushed, he gets replaced and the guy goes 5-15 and gives the rest of his division W's.

MAF is definitely one of the most overpayed, overrated goalies. He's barely average and still racking money from that 1 cup. I think that's highway robbery if the Penguins get Kesler out of this. Sutter is 3rd line material as evidenced by his lack of scoring (altough he's a GREAT 3rd line center). While Kesler is clearly a top 6 forward with the same PK abilities that Sutter has. Pittsburgh's pick will be so late it'll be like a 2nd round pick, and their prospects are OKAY at best. If teels like every year Pittsburgh gets a guy (Kunitz, Hossa, Jokinen) out of offering somebody their poo-poo platter of subpar s**t.

The vast majority of E-Sports (including sports games at MLG) like Starcraft, League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike allow players to concede a match. I don't see why we couldn't do that here. Of course there's a limit (don't do it Mavs style) but when it's 8-0 your stats are probably already padded enough for the day. I can't think of a sport where people are forced to stay and the opponent isn't prohibited (or highly discouraged) to run up the score. Of course in pro sports it's a different thing but they have paying spectators who go there live so it's a different thing.
