My buddy and I want to test our skills against some new competition in a face to face matchup. If anyone is in the Boston area (or close enough to be willing to come here) let me know and let's try to set something up. We prefer to play one on one, but I have the adapter for 2 on 2.

So this means the ability of an individual player to check is exactly opposite on Genesis vs SNES? I have played both versions extensively and have never noticed this rather significant difference. Not that I'm questioning it, but how is this known?

OK, I just learned about the weight bug. So, if possible, answer the first question for the actual Genesis version, not the emulator version.

I don't play in the leagues on here, but in my circle, the cross crease goal is simply known as "The b***h Move" and is automatically disallowed. In the case of disagreement between the two players, a third party is brought in to watch the replay and judge whether it was legal or not. I once had to call a friend out of state and describe it to him over the phone go get a ruling. When I first discovered this site, the first question I had was "I wonder if they allow The b***h Move?"
