  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_explosion time to provide context =)
  2. You do get street cred if you own the original NHL2K for Sega Dreamcast.
  3. All 20 teams are required? Seriously? S e r i o u s l y ?
  4. I can do a database dump for you if you like. Would be easy. Note to everyone else: i have nothing to do with this.
  5. Too soon to say. Right now it's just anti-Balsillie. Then the NHL will look at moving them, my money is on Kansas City sadly, but Winnipeg has a faint shot as well.
  6. I'm the same way, I'm not an NHL fan but for '95 PC. MLS is great when you have a team to root for, usually a local one, because the local fandom takes over the quality of play. For neutrals though there just aren't enough storylines yet. It's getting better.
  7. the early NHL series got a mention on a soccer economics blog: http://footiebusiness.com/2009/08/24/bring...-v-video-games/
  8. The difference though is Bullington wasn't the best player in the draft, Strasburg apparently is. The nats need him to win but don't need him for attendance, it won't go up 'til they put a winner on the field.
  9. The concrete business probably isn't working out for him

Glad to be of service =)
  11. it's cuz the forum can't handle the spizaces, yo
  12. So I should go become a terrorist because two years ago I realized I was drinking waaaay too much caffeine to the point where it was negatively affecting my life and therefore decided to give it up altogether?
  13. You kidding? The only bad part about when I had to move out of Michigan was the fact I missed my Tim Hortons. But then again I don't drink any caffeinated beverages. The chocolate chip muffins are good. And anything maple (duh).

    Playoffs

try making sure every team has a spot in the playoffs allocated to them? Otherwise you may come up on a team with no opponent which might crash things. But again, I'm a SNES guy.
  15. SNES Editor 0.71 UPDATE: + Copy and paste now works Everything else should work... same disclaimer applies... use at your own risk SNESEditor071.zip
  16. It has nothing to do with Balsillie and everything to do with common sense. I'd rather see 'em move to the 'peg. We could win the Cup and people would care, but not at a high enough level to put butts in seats every night.
  17. I'll take me a look when I get home.
  18. Congratulations to the Spring 2009 Classic champions: GENS A: Flamingpavelbure GENS B: Icestorm GENS C: Wags GENS D: IQ25 SNES : schwartz All five competitions have been completed, and it's July 6, and the league started late - still I think that's gotta be some sort of record =D Thanks to everyone again for making this easy on me and for letting me run the league... I hope I did well, but I'm turning the keys back in with the rental car - if it wasn't for you guys, Spring Classic would have been a real clunker to drive. Stay sportsmanshippy. Best of luck to all of you I've had the pleasure to interact with. Go Flames. And, for the sake of the NHL, move the Coyotes.
  19. I apologize for just seeing this now as I've been busy. Thanks to you both for participating in the GENS D cup and for a great season.
  20. Congratulations to Wags and Iceguy for participating in the GENS C season. Thanks to all for a smooth league.
  21. I think it's still buggy but I'm glad that people are using it and that it's revived the ole SNES for just a little while longer.
  22. I think Stamkos. I'd be surprised if it wasn't TBH.
  23. Glad you had a good experience. Detroit-Buffalo for the win.
