This is an outrage. It's time for these cheaters to come out and admit what they've done. They're ruining the image of the sport.. the game has been tainted. I don't want to be painted with the same brush as these dirty dirty dopers. I feel sick to my stomach..

I think I'm the best at playing a solid game and having fun. Goals and wins are for chumps.

I am Bob Kudelski and I'm 44 years old. In 1986, I was drafted by the LA Kings in the supplemental draft, and went on to play parts of 10 seasons in the NHL. In 1993-94, I scored a career high 40 goals, and played in the All Star Game. Because of a mid-season trade from Ottawa to Florida, I tied Jimmy Carson for the NHL record for games played in a single season with 86. I am currently in real estate development in Connecticut. I also work part-time teaching kids how to snipe the top corner with a sizzling wrister. But seriously, I am 28. I work for the government. I love NHL'94 on SNES. Genesis, not so much. I sometimes like to bold text for emphasis.

The amALT ROM is a great rom as far as I can tell. With pretty accurate player ratings and the new alternative jersnies. I feel like we should start a league with this rom.

I love that this would be an SNES tourney! I would totally do this .. if I didn't have to explain to my friends and family that I'm going to Detroit for the weekend with a few strangers from an internet forum in order to meet another stranger that is hosting a Nintendo game tournament for a game that was released in 1993. I am still alive, but I haven't played '94 in a looong time. Life got in the way, and I ain't talking about the board game or the cereal. I miss playing my snes nhl 94. I hope to one day get back into the scene, but for now, I'm pretty much out of it. Looking forward to destroying Rimbaboo or whatever his name is.

They just plain suck. Possibly the worst group of 6 defencemen in the league, mediocre goaltending and no forward depth. Here's hoping for a high lottery pick along with a front office shakeup and some roster moves.

Yes, I have played all of the different edited roms on my brother's DS, but I don't know how he had that working. He had a mod cartridge, but I dont know any of the details. I can try and find out, but I won't be able to get you an answer any time soon because I am in the middle of moving amongst other things and hardly even have time to visit this forum anymore. Sorry. I'm sure you could find something that will work if you search the net. Actually, I just remembered something about this.. he had trouble with freezing and slow gameplay too, and I think he just turned the sound off completely before running the emulator or the rom (i dunno) and it worked fine. When I played, it didnt have any sound. Other than that, it worked great.. fast and smooth. The only weird thing was the sprites sometimes appeared on top of the text boxes (after goals and such) and once in a while (once or twice a game), the screen went all jumbled, which could be solved by a quick pause and un-pause.
