haha i was bored one time too and wanted to see if i could make it to 100 goals in a 20 min period game. the first time i tried it i got to 69 goals, then 2nd time i got 88 and the third time i got 112! 45 of those were from teemu selanne himself haha. i also learned that the scoreboard gets reset back to zero once you make it to 100 goals, but in the game stats after the game it will say however many you scored (112).

i'm a snes player as well but I have played gens before. And in gens, in order to click on the manual goalie you have to hit 2 buttons at once, (i think its like a and b at the same time or something). So whichever buttons you've configured for a and b on the snes controller, i'm pretty sure you're gonna have to hit both of those at the same time to click on the goalie. it's a lot harder than the simple x button for snes, but I think thats all u can do... this is my guess, but some gens players should reply to confirm if this is right or not.

YAH, i'm pretty sure I wouldn't have the sweetest clue where to even begin doing that hahaha. I have no experience with hacking. A little experience with computer programming (took one course on it in engineering). I'm currently trying to teach myself HTML to make webpages.... so this sounds a little out of my league. I am always interested in learning though. I'm more leaning towards someone else doing the work by making the player stat league, then me reaping the benefits and playing in it.... hahaha but jokes aside, I could try to learn some hacking

Cool man, I am definitley interested in getting player stats into the next league... thats a pretty intense stat sheet u created! i didn't know you could save states in the zsnes version, i'll have to test that out. but yah if we can get enough interest in a league that records players stats along with the standings that would be awesome! we wouldn't need all of those stats on the stat sheet u made but if you're already close to finishing it, then may as well! GP, goals, assists, points, shots, pims would be good enough for me.

"Snes9K Emulator v. 0.09z" is that the emulator i'm looking for? it says it has the kaillera client built in... is that the part that saves the games? i tried playing with it and tried saving the game and it worked great! why haven't we been using this emulator for other leagues? i know the screen size is tough to adjust... but you can eventually find one that works, and thats the only problem i can find with it it would be awesome to get a league going that uses this emulator and saves player stats. i wouldn't even mind being that guy that keeps track of all the stats (the only problem is i wouldn't know how to post them to a website, but i would be willing to learn and could probably figure it out this summer). i would just wanna make sure all the SNES players that sign up are committed to keeping stats and playing all games, which obviously can be extremely tough.

That sounds awesome! I don't really care about the drafting that much, I'm much more interested in the stats extractor... i think incorporating a scoring race would be SICKKK! we should try to get a league going where we can do this.

Does anyone know much about editing the SNES rom or emulator? From what I've read, the GENS version seems a lot easier to edit than the SNES version. All of the GENS leagues with the fantasy drafts and logging player stats for scoring races really looks AWESOME! I would love to get a league going that did that for SNES. I know there are some juiced SNES roms out there so it can be done, but how about ways to log the player stats like the GENS do? Any hackers able to rig something up to make that easier? I wouldn't even mind taking screen shots of player statistics and uploading them if it was necessary for a scoring race, but I have a feeling that too many games would get exited without checking the stats so it wouldn't work.

I'm interested in knowing the decision process for coaches getting into this league. If you look at the 28 teams that registered: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?showtopic=5385 7 coaches are in bold meaning they didn't get a test game confirmed and also didn't make it into the league. xgrad06 is the only non bold coach to not make it in. I know that I only joined recently, but I also know that there are other coaches in the same boat as me who did get in. I'm disappointed I didn't get picked cause i feel i can be competitive in this league, so I'm wondering my positioning on the waiting list and the chances of getting in, if some guys don't show up?

I'm already confirmed as having a good connection while hosting, but I'm just wondering why it matters if you host the game or not? You can still play the game if the other person hosts? There's no real advantage either way is there?

How does the team selection work anyways? I think i put detroit as my 2nd fav team so i wouldn't mind having them myself, and I dunno if assigning teams to the person who begs the most is very fair?

hey who do i need to play for a test game for this league? is this league starting after the capitalism league is done? cause i'm currently in that league. i believe i'll be playing you at some point in that league halifax, my aim is xgrad06. so hopefully that is good enough as my test game?
