Nice job trying to get the right crease! I made several similar attempts but as you said, the layout is different and there are no tutorials on how to edit anything by anyone. Would be nice if someone could make some nice hacks for this game. Love WBOY and all, but I never understood why he just doesn't make a basic layout hack for the different era's. For example, a 90's crease, and 80's crease and a pre-80's crease rom. Then people could just use NOSE to do the rest, i.e. edit players etc. It'd be a lot easier then trying to explain in a 10-page essay how to change the crease. Don't you think? With his knowledge he should be able to do each crease fairly quickly, and then provide a download link. How bout it WBOY? Sorry but I just can't play a "hack" of NHLPA 93 that's supposed to be, lets say, 1985, with a mid-90's crease. Doesn't work for me and I can't get into it.

I thought there was an editable version of this game out for quite some time now. Whats the point of making the crease and center ice logo editable if noone is going to hack anything? Is anyone working on any hacks for this game? I see some lame hacks that say "NHL 1985" but still have the mid 90's crease. Cmon, that's laziness. If you're gonna make a hack, do it right.

You realize that in 1989-1990 the crease did not look like that, right? Didn't wboy make an editable crease for NHL 93?

I love NHL91.com and the game, but I know in an earlier edition you had just the normal star around the players instead of the circle. Do you still have the rom of NHL91 with the regular star around the players instead of the circle? If not is there any way you could make a quick change back to the star and mabye have 2 rom options for people who dont like the circle? And if so could you post a link where I could download it? K, K but why did WBOY say we could edit the crease? Thats what I'm wondering. If he says we can and we cant why would he say that? Mabye I'm doing something wrong or is there some trick to unlock the crease/logo tiles?? Any way you can just test it yourself and see what happens?? Dont you want to edit the logo and get rid of that crappy as$ EASN thing??

Hey dude its me, pain in the as$...I mean purplehaze. I downloaded your original NHL 91 hack and still have it on my drive...play it all the time great work. Was wondering if you knew if its possible to edit the crease with this great hack by WBOY. Mabye you could test it and tell me. I tried to edit the crease tiles in TLP but it doesnt show up in the game (like slapshot already said). Lemme know what I'm doing wrong, or mabye we just cant edit the crease yet. WBOY says theres another set of rink tiles near the end but I'm just not seeing it in TLP just green boxes. Thanks lemme know.

K I did. My main question though is why we cant edit the crease yet. You had any luck? Mabye if you get a chance you could look at the rink tiles then try to edit one, and see if it comes out in the game. Then you'll see what I mean it just doesnt show up.

How do you limit the number of teams? How'd you do that by the way? Also how do you edit overall ratings under Ron Barr?

Have you tried editing the crease or logo yet?? Supposedly its possible but the guy who made the hack must be on vacation or something. He hasnt answered any questions over there. Lemme know if you have any luck. I saw 1 set of rink tile in TLP but when you edit the, nothing happens in the game. Guy who made the rom says theres another set somewhere down at the bottom when you open it in TLP but I dont see anything but green boxes. Oh well. To my knowledge noone has yet to edit the crease or logo in 93. Hope one day we can.

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..... Anyone alive out there..........??????????????????????? Been about a week and still no response....Was there a nuclear war that I missed while down here in my basement??? Eventually you have to answer me I repeat: There are NO RINK TILES TO EDIT. There is only ONE SET and when you change them, nothing happens in the game like slapshot said. There's nothing but green boxes toward the end of the rom set. No rink tiles. I'm assuming then, that at this time we cannot edit the crease/easn logo area. Just want some confirmation on that. Thanks. Much appreciated.

Hey slapshot did you ever get to edit the crease?? WBOY says you can but I havent been able to yet, and he's not replying. I can see all the graphics like the EASN logo in the middle part of TLP, but when they are edited it wont show up in the game like you said. I know WBOY said to make sure we edit the right tiles, but there is only one set of logo and crease tiles from what I can see. The entire last part of the rom is nothing but green boxes. I do not see any other crease or logo tiles in TLP. Please RESPOND either WBOY or slapshot. I am really anxious now, I want to edit 93. I've been waiting a long time to do it! Please dont ignore me, thanks. I just want to edit the crease then I'll leave you alone. I dont care about the title or any of that s**t, just the crease and logo.

I couldnt even open tile molester, much less use it LOL. How do you open the friggin thing? I clicked on the "jar" icon but that didnt work. Oh well.

77, Hi again. Still having the same problems. Hitting + or - only zoomed in the tiles in and out, unless you mean something else? It didnt change the tile patterns at all. Here is a picture (the carolina logo was imported by me, I put it there to show what the other banners should look like) So what am I doing wrong? 12 boxes but they are all jumbled up! OK, I lined up TLP to 12 boxes like you said, but the banners are not coming together properly. You can "make out" where the chicago banner is, new york banner etc. etc. but it is not lined up perfectly. How do you line up the banners so they fall into place properly? Is it supposed to automatically line up? Or do I have to tweak each box using the arrow thingie in TLP to get it to line up? I zoomed in to 4 around where the banners were, lined it up to 12 but like I said, the banners are not lining up 100% properly. Its annoying because no matter what I do it wont line up the way you have it in your picture.

Probably have to use 1 of the teams twice? Like LA/EDM and LA/SJ? Just a thought.

Gotcha. But there are only 1 set of rink tiles. Scanned up and down. Looks like the crease/EASN logo are not yet editable unless I'm missing something here. The logo and crease are visible but when changed, dont show up in the game like the other poster said. Couldnt find any other rink tiles in TLP. I guess there needs to be more decompressing. I got so excited when I saw the rink logo and crease in TLP though, but I guess its just not ready to be edited yet. DARN IT!! WBOY thanks again at least we can edit the banners, but I dont think the logo and crease can be edited. If I'm wrong please tell me. Thanks.

Logo and crease changes havent worked for me. Scanned the rom up and down in TLP couldnt find any other rink tiles. Any advice? At least we can change the banners and we have you to thank for that! But it looks like we can't edit the crease or center ice logo.

Has anyone tried to edit the crease yet?? So far, no luck on my end. The changes do not show up in th game. Only for the banners. I dont see any other tiles for the crease in TLP either. I would love to edit the crease, and the center ice logo. And I'd be happy as a pig in poop. Does more work need to be done on the rom for this? Or am I just doing something wrong? I am not seeing any changes on the ice when I edit the crease in the game. The crease, EASN logo etc. have all been changed by me in TLP and it hasnt shown up in the game. I looked for another set of rink tiles but saw none in TLP. HELP! Mabye the rom needs to be decompressed more before we can edit the EASN logo and the crease. BUMMER!!!!!!! SO CLOSE!!!!!!

I left a message on the other forum for you but I'll ask here to: Is it possible to now edit the center ice logo/crease of 93 with this new hack? I tried to edit the crease but it didnt show up on the ice. hmmmmmmm. Probably the wrong crease tiles, but they were the only ones I saw in TLP. I also tried to edit the banners, and that part seems to work but I am lousy at doing it! Can you tell me how to edit banners so nicely, the way you did for this tough guy rom? It looks like gibberish to me in TLP and the colors are all different so I cant figure out whats red, whats blue etc. etc. Whats your secret for whipping out these great looking banners so quickly?? Do you make the banners in a program, like PAINT first? Or do you just create the banner right there in TLP?? Also is there a way to remove selectable teams with this new rom?? I just want to make a NHLPA 91 rom, similar to Jesus's NHL 94/NHL 91 rom hack. I want: -91 crease -91 patch center ice -removed teams for 91 season -edited banners Is this possible?? I'm a huge fan of the game and have been dying to make some hacks but until now, havent been able to due to compression. Whats your AIM 77 and when are you on?

OK basically what I want to do is: -edit crease 1991 style -edit center ice logo (mabye a 1991 patch or something instead of the crappy EASN logo) -edit banners 1991 style -have only 21 showable teams (1991 amount of teams) -edit the "expansion teams" banners...mabye make a team USA/team Canada banners instead, since you cant get rid of the teams completely. Basically if you ever played the poster Jesus's NHL 94/NHL 91 hack I want to do the same thing, except with NHLPA 93. Is that possible? All I want is to edit the crease, and banners, and playable teams. Thats it. I can edit the ratings, players etc. myself on NOSE. Can you help me out 77? You seem to know how to do this with ease. I am just starting out here thanks!
