  1. Yeah this time of year is just a mess to get games in. I'm out of town this weekend. I'm available all day TH and FRI next week if you ever get the chance. Next Sunday is our best bet--I work late that day, I'll keep you updated via PM
  2. Last 3 games vs Zalex--these ones are important. Boston can clinch the conference title, and Dallas has an outside chance of winning its division. My avail is the same, didn't see you at all TH or FRI, so its either gonna be late night tonight or Mon
  3. GGs Carse and Kupuck yesterday I have a few opponents left. Please post some availability so we can knock these out Hokkee(1) Dcicon(5) Bo(4) Zalex(3) Beavers(3) My availability is Saturday to Wednesday late nights after 11P, and anytime Thurs and Fridays
  4. My availability is always Saturday to Wednesday any time after 11PM, and all day THURS and FRI. Coaches I need to play: Hokkee Dcicon Kupuck Bo Carse Beavers Zalex Hopefully we can get these games in, just PM me a specific time if need be. Thanks
  5. Boston will have something to say when its all said and done. But yeah A league is weird this year, no Frey/Habs/Sebe/Jrod/AJ/Swos/Ice. I'll be on Thurs and Fri all day--I'll get a ton of games in--- The Bruins plane is ready, but the pilot is new and still needs to pass a few background checks though. He flies at 900 mph at 49000 feet, so sleep wake cycles shouldn't be a problem given how short a Bruins travel to the west coast is.
  6. An update for everyone in GENS A--flasox drops PHI, and adds BOS PHI is officially on the waiver wire
  7. My vote goes to King with DET. I haven't played him a ton, but from the limited games I have seen, he seems like the coach that can adapt to most coaching styles--play a high paced offensive game or grind out a defensive war. He played me pretty tough last fall during my championship run. It will be really fun to see what he can do with DET. How bout a PHI-DET final?? Getcha popcorn ready
  8. Great league King, put me in on the waitlist if possible.
  9. Nope..this is the first CHI cup for me and for the Blackhawks(according to nhl94online, not sure what happened before that site existed). Biggest drought is for the Canadiens who have never won yet, they are due if you ask me Detroit hasn't gone far in forever it seems either
  10. (2)Flasox edges (1) Frey in 6 games to lift the Stanley Cup. CHI 6 LA 2 CHI 4 LA 3 LA 4 CHI 5 OT LA 2 CHI 1 CHI 3 LA 4 LA 3 CHI 6 I rarely find the time to post much here, but I do care about you guys and this site, so just a few final words.... Great series Freydey and congrats on making it to the finals in probably the most competitive year ever--I am sure we will meet again. This was a hard fought championship that I will cherish…perhaps this marks the start of a new rivalry. Some interesting geographical notes about major championships for this year…2012 may be the first time 3 different countries have owned one of the 3 major titles all in the same year. Canada and Finland are the proud owners of the most recent GDL and Blitz titles, and now USA has exerted its dominance to win its 5th consecutive Classic major title. This shows how far 94 has come through the years and what an amazing culture it has become. Before I put the wraps on this season, I have to thank all the A league coaches for their class, commitment, and respect for the game. 94 is such an incredible game and it’s been a blast meeting people from all over the world during my time here. I would not be the player I am today without the challenges you present to me because that helps elevate and diversify my game and bring it to new levels. GENS A is the holy grail-- this is really special and you guys made me work hard for it. Thanks to Halifax and Chaos for their contributions to the great website. Gotta give a special shout out to nikpetro(best nhl94 player in da world) for helping me reach my potential. This was an exhilarating ride and rewarding season and I look forward to defending my title for the next GENS A classic. Anything is possible, peace everyone flasox
  11. Chicago outlasts Vancouver in 6 insanely fast paced games. Great series Habs. Van 5 @ Chi7 Van 5 @ Chi4 Chi 5@ Van 3 Chi 4@ Van 6 Van 1@ Chi 5 Chi 3@ Van 2
  12. Insane series... very well played Ice. Vegas predicted offense this series, but that certainly wasn't the case. Offense was certainly at a premium Larmer may have come close to outscoring JR this series, I have to check the vids. VGGS
  13. I will be available to play anyone all Sunday and Monday. I played VC but I am still waiting for him to log and confirm the latest scores CHI 7@ BUF 0 BUF 2@ CHI 4
  14. GENS A--toughest one of em all to predict...leaning Carse again with CAL, but pretty much all a tossup btwn CAL, VAN(canadiensfan), and DET(jrod). VAN has an incredible offense and just enough D to contain people. DET makes any competitive coach...even rusty ones lethal. And Carse should destroy ppl with CAL...thanks to Fleury and co. For some reason, Hokkee has also really been playing out of his mind the last few series, and with WPG he may pull more than a couple upsets GENS B-this one is easy. SMOZ in a cakewalk. Smoz+uber goalie=cant score
  15. Top 5 are pretty clear to me based on roster quality and past coach success. Let the games begin! Carse(BUF) -250 Angryjay(LA)+180 Habs(MTL)+225 DC(Chi)+300 Icestorm(Tor)+350 Sebe(Det)+475 Flasox(Dal)+500 FPB(PHI)+500 Dexpsu(Bos)+600 Zalex(TB)+850 BoKnows(Cal) +1000 Hokkee(QUE)+2000 Vocally Caged(NYR)+2250 Houli(VAN) +2,500 STAN1sh(HART)+150,000 Nationals(WPG)+300,000 Other predictions: 30 win club: Carse(Buf), Icestorm(Tor), Angryjay(LA), Dcicon(Chi) 200 goal club: FPB(Phi), Flasox(Dal), Angryjay(LA), Carse(Buf) Best GAA: Icestorm and Habs should battle this one out
  16. Calgary Flames First line LW- Andrei Kovalenko C- Peter Klima RW- Dallas Drake LD- Sergei Bautin RD- Cam Russell G- Kirk Mclean If Klima gets a penalty or gets KO'd, I'd like Kovalenko to play center Second line LW- Vachslav Kozlov C- Luciano Borsato RW- Wayne Presley LD- Jim Johnson RD- Bryan Marchment G- Vincent Riendeau
