I really enjoyed our playoff series. This guy is a class act and is also one hell of a player. I hope to see him back in the SNES leagues in the spring.

The series is over. St. Louis ended up pulling it out 4 games to 2. It was a very even series that featured lots of end to end rushes from both teams. The most compelling game of the series was an offensive match in Calgary, that the Flames ended up pulling out 5-4 in double overtime. Many kudos to Rage93 for a well fought series.

And I'm 0-2. OUCH. But seriously, some great hockey played by deer. Our little home and home series featured many firsts of the season. The first power play, power play goal, shorthanded goal, one timer goal, penalty shot, and penalty shot goal. Deer is already off to a 2-0 start and is surely headed back to the postseason. I'm looking forward to a great season and to seeing you guys online soon. -cajanek

I finally got around to voting in the awards thread! I now have time to post in lots of threads, because Slimeball just kicked my ass out of the playoffs. :-) Great series Slime. I don't envy your opponents the rest of the way through.

Best Overall Coach Of the Season - the94kid (NY Rangers). Simply dominant. Best Sportsmanship Coach - This is going to be a tough one. Everyone was pretty cool, but the guys that really stand out in my mind are: Schwartz (hartford), Deer (Quebec), the94kid, and Slimeball (Det) Best One-Timer Coach - Jota (EDM) was pretty sick Best Deke Coach - Slimeball (I felt the pain of this in game six of our first round series) Best Slapshot Coach - Huh, I dunno really. Best Defensive Coach - This may be my playoff frustration speaking, but Slimeball. He kept me to three goals or under in more than half of our games, and shut me out once to boot. Best Offensive Coach - the94kid. A sick, total offensive package. Most Improved Coach - Rucinsky (San Jose) Best Far-Better-Than-Their-Actual-Record Coach - Schwartz. With skills like that, I'm shocked he wasn't a top four seed. Best Replacement Coach - Boston Coach Who Stuck It Out Through The Hard Times - BSD (Leafs) Kept playing games despite some tough losing streaks. Most Hardware Broken During The Season - I heard Deer had some problems, so I'm going to give him this one. It was awesome guys. I'm looking forward to next season. Slime and I are definitely going to finish our series (Det-Stl). It may not be totally done by tommorow night, but we will finish it.

Just played game one in the STL-DET series. Guys, watch out! Slime is dangerous. He pretty much outplayed me in every facet of the game. Unless I can pick it up significantly, Detroit may take this series in four! Great game one slime.

Hey guys! Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I know I haven't been around here in forever. The last month has been insane beyond belief. I graduated from college, got married, and started a new job all in the same month. I was pleased to see I snuck into the playoffs as the sixth seed in the west. I'm looking forward to playing Slime in the first round soon. I saw that season ending awards thing, and I'll definitely post in that topic sometime soon. It's going to be hard to pick some of the awards though. Everyone here is a great gamer and I've seen a ton of great sportsmanship from just about everyone on top of that. I hope you guys have been doing well and I can't wait to get back to playing '94 shortly.
