There are things that have improved overall, though it takes some used to at first. One-touch Dekes require some training, I like how the fighting system looks and feels and the AI plays a whole lot better too. I wonder if there's gonna be more stuff in the game.

I'm gonna get Pidgin tomorrow and if you guys use it with Hamachi, we'll go with that. From there, make test games with me using the NHL 94 Blitz rom. Then we will tell if it sucks or not.

You can read my post and have a good idea why I said that Lukas' opinions suck like a whore. Clearly, the man has little sense of style and I think the Kings' unis have great elegance in their simplicity. By that token, the Red Wings and Maple Leafs have such fine uniforms too. And wow, how could he complain or put down the Blackhawks' home uniform? Like I said, his opinion sucks like a whore.

I kinda like the Blue Jackets' uniforms, actually. Other than that, Paul Lukas' opinions about uniforms are just full of utter bullshit and thus I never take him seriously. Best unis for me: - Chicago - Los Angeles - Boston - Washington - Toronto - Detroit - Columbus

Actually, the new router's a whole lot better and I got me a new laptop that's not crappy at all. But if you want test games, I can do it. Just so everyone is in the know, my availability is on weekday mornings and weekends since I'm on job training for a contact center. If we're still using AIM, though, I don't know if I can handle it. It gave me a lot of crap and problems when it comes to handling viruses along with the account being used for Heavens know what and that's something I'm pretty wary about.

Hello, guys. It has been a while. If possible, I'd like to drop by for the Fall season and get myself up and running little by little. I've been away too long. Am I able to join both leagues?

I'm no Smoz, but I'm gonna do my best. The Caps are pretty much transformed in Blitz and the SNES. Both Iafrate and Hatcher become wrecking balls with Howitzer-type shots that'll cause a lot of problems. Ridley is now a factor because his weight will help shrug off body checks from less heavy players and it won't hurt his playmaking abilities. With the right playmaker, both Khristich and Bondra can score a lot of goals and Pete will be able to use his speed to avoid getting knocked on his butt provided you're able to use him well. A fringe option from the rest of the forwards is Dale Hunter. Decent checker, not too bad of a shot, but both his stickhandling and skating abilities are subpar, so he's only a sub option. Carpenter and Miller become decent options in case someone gets hurt, but some skill is required for both. As for goaltending, I suppose you could do much worse if we include the expansion teams. Beaupre is sort of a lovable loser who's got mediocre skills, he can move well enough that you'll stop some shots manually.

I've made a rather important announcement concerning my situation, so I think somebody's gonna have a free slot. You can read it on the General Discussion in the Classic League section if anyone's curious.

Well, I've been putting some thought after a while and this wasn't exactly an easy choice to make, but I had to do it. I don't feel like myself for these past few months and I've started to lose it. I feel that I've really come down with a big slump and tried as I might, the frustration keeps piling up and what's more, I'm dragging things down in a way that may cause things not to work out in the leagues I'm in. I've been very burned out lately and it pretty much shows. Before I really do something bad I'd regret later, I'm going to have to lighten a huge load right now and I hope people will understand what I'm going to do now. I must resign on Classic Gens, GDL and NHL 13 FDL because I feel that I'm responsible for not making enough games and things have gotten really rough around here due to this. I've handled many things wrong and I don't want to drag these 3 leagues due to my problems, so feel free to replace me with a more capable coach that's ready to step up and perhaps do a much better job than I have. The only leagues I'll be doing from here will be Classic SNES and Blitz. It's time for me to take 5, start moving on and think about things. My own style of play has become archaic and obsolete and it's been very tough to catch up with the new competition. It has been a very tiring journey for me and I'll settle down with a lighter load. To everyone involved who has played with me and put up with my shenanigans, I extend my sincerest apologies and thanks for the time they took for the leagues. It's been rather fun and I feel responsible for causing problems that you may have with me. I don't know if I'll return to be as active as I was, but for now this is for the best. I think it's the right thing to do. Smell ya later, guys!

For the record, I've tried different passwords. They last awhile before someone manages to crack them and then the cycle begins anew. A new development is that my mother has a bum right arm; a small bone broke when she had an unlucky spill in the house, so she'll be nursing it and I'll have to help out a lot since last week. Some of the load will be released for a bit coming next week, so at best I'll try to play in the afternoons. A busy month of recuperation is ahead. So I thank everyone beforehand for the understanding and that also goes to pretty much any other league I'm involved in.

Sorry it took this long for an update, but I managed to open up a new account this morning because I did not want to go through that same bug that prevented me from creating it again in the afternoon. My new AIM handle is OneTimer1983 now. Just add me there or I'll add you; either way is fine as long as the games get done. Once again, I apologize for whatever problems this has caused and hopefully there won't be any issues. But if AOL gets hacked and slashed again and I put up with this crap, that's it. Either I want everyone else to use a different IM app or I'm gone. I know you guys are not lazy, so it shouldn't be a problem.
