Hey SNES brothers, I'm looking to play some tune up games to try to shake off some rust. Anyone care to just hammer out games with me for a couple hours Friday evening? I got a snes and one controller, so ideally you'd have a 2nd controller but I could try to buy one if needed. Message me on here and we can figure out a time. I live in T.O. so would just come to your hotel probably.

Just updating the situation, Shaka is correct that the score was recorded as Was vs NYR, while it should have been Was vs NJ. So when you have the chance Schwartz can you post it under NJ vs Was? Then I can confirm it.

We had that 5-5 tie in Washington in addition to the other 3. (I'm NJ)

WOW what a series! All tight tight games.. could of cut the tension with a knife for most of it!

I won 8-5 at NYR - Was winnin like 4-0 or 4-1 till 2nd period when he was mounting a serious comeback, but I managed to score as he was scoreing & whacked in a couple of late rockets.

Tis true. Well played Fenty. Most of the games basically went along the lines of Fenty scores a bunch in the first, I score a bunch in the third to tie, then Fenty scores a crafty one timer with like a minute left, then maybe another as I mad press during the final seconds. Except for the first game, which was the exact opposite, I was up like 5-1 and watched it almost slip away. Fenty isn't your typical 8th seed. Good luck the rest of the way!

GGs Jeff. That last game was a real barn burner, 3 goals in the final minute of play, with the winner being scored with 4 seconds left. Wild. GL in the playoffs.

ggs, home ice was just death in this series. some real solid playing by snesboy,especially in the last 2 games, but i cant help but feel a little raw as my defense was never really their the whole series, and decided to never take the flight from new york to boston. it seemed like he had 5 guys in his zone who never missed checks, while i maybe had 1 or 2 who bounced off his guys, really frustrating, felt like i was playing with gens AI and he had snes. it happens though, ggs.

Oh crap.
I was in zbattle and had the game marked dal vs nyr, as you saw. The mystery guy who showed up seemed to know what was going on, he even had the spring SNES .smc (that's the one I used, I take it he had to have the same for it to work). But obviously it wasn't you.
I logged out of Aim right before I launched the game with him, don't want any message pop ups screwing with the game. So that's why I wasn't on AIM.
What a waste of time those 4 games were! But sort of funny when you think about it.

I'm not mad at mike, I just want to vomit right now. I am astounded at how many times my guys wouldn't take a pass or couldn't knock down an opponent (including when it cost me the game in OT.)

GGs. Lots of bodies on the ice after these games. 471 was just wild. Best game I've been a part of this season. Not sure Tickenest would agree since he was on the wrong side of it, but it was a coin toss really.

I'm in! The original King of 94 was awesome so won't miss part II. Thanks for all the effort Halifax and Mikey!
I'll have at least 3 or 4 other guys signing up for the snes division. None of whom attended King of 94 I. All of us making the trip down from Toronto.
