  1. Our series is now finished. Congrats Don and good luck the rest of the way!
  2. I'll be online the next couple evenings assuming Don can as well to get it done.
  3. If you can't find someone to switch by the end of the evening, you can swap me with Mr Bones. I wouldn't mind playing against guys in A.
  4. Preseason award: Coach who stuck through the most: Schildmeijer. That is, if he can play all 22 home games with those bubblegum pink jerseys. Yikes those things hurt my eyes!
  5. I prefer Kega for its quality and smoothness for offline play, never tried it multiplayer. What features is it currently lacking that we are currently use to / utilize in GENS? The ability to netsave?
  6. The Connecticut Praying Mantis have released forward Patric Hornqvist and signed forward Alexandre Burrows.
  7. Just started playing 2v2 yesterday for the first time, lots of fun. I'll join in for exhibitions if anyone needs an extra player. Also looking for any 2v2 tips and advice I can get - so if anyone has time to help show out your skills, I'd appreciate it.
  8. Thanks for all of you who have been working to make this draft go so smoothly. It went faster and more efficiently than I thought. Very impressed with the time and effort put forward to make this happen,

  21. You need http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/13168-gens-netplaysave-new-version/ That version of Gens does not automatically re size when you tab or click out of it, also has volume settings in 25% increments instead of just a mute button.
  22. I agree, which is why I started a voice chat thread under Locker Room. I have tried using Mumble with Dragon and it worked great. I'd like to try it out with some other players via exhibitions etc and see what others think. A few reasons I chose Mumble over Skype: It's less personal and you don't have to use your real name, you can connect to multiple servers, Mumble is less of a resource hog and bandwidth hog than Skype, and Skype doesn't have a push to talk key like Mumble to prevent you from broadcasting continuously.
  23. Dragon and I just played our 2 survivor league games using Mumble, and it was pretty cool. Playing from USA to France we had no noticeable lag at all. I think it has some potential good uses and wouldn't mind playing either a league game or exhibitions with it again. It was nice to get to chat about the game a bit and throw in some commentary instead of feeling like I was playing a robot who types back. It also helped when I was trying to host a game and it wouldn't let me, as I was able to let him know what I was trying to do to troubleshoot and when for him to attempt to join instead of him just waiting in the dark for me to type out responses.I could see a definite use for it in a 2v2 to communicate with your teammate.
  24. I totally know what you mean Robbie. There are just certain times or matchups whether against another player or CPU where the game just totally goes against you. Cannot shoot or pass accurately, and your players are either over pursuing then being always late to react by a second or simply just in the wrong spot whether it be 5 on 5 or a PP situation. It is annoying at times, but yet impressive that a game from that era adjusts on the fly and has these little wrenches they throw at you. I have had some games vs the CPU where they literally shoot 8/8 with 100% accuracy and you just know a certain shot is a going to be a goal even before it has left the stick.
